I've been coming here for years and I love it! Great Dr. And works with your budget and helps with insurance questions too. My only ever optometrist and I've been wearing glasses since 2nd grade and I'm now 25.

Patient beware this place is suspicious and shameful. They take your insurance, take the whole benefits, in my case $300 . And then charged me additional $60 dollars. And $17 to adjust my glasses! What a scam. And to make it worse the frames Where damaged. What kind of outfit is this? They should be investigated. I don't even know why they have good reviews. I would question that to

The dr is very very informative and knows what he’s talking about takes the time to explain what’s going on he is also very patient and caring, I came in because my 4 yr Old needed an eye exam and we had a great experience

Paola is awesome! What a lifesaver she turned out to be. My expired prescription and broken glasses have been a real issue for me, but were no match for her. Paola listened to me, explained there were a backlog of scheduled appointments due to the Covid-19 work-stop, then scheduled me as early as possible knowing my urgent situation. All the while, Paola was polite, upbeat, and very helpful. Thank you to Sphinx Optical and to Paola, I can't say enough about how she helped me. I wish there were more people in the world like Paola.

Dr. Sam and staff have continually provided for underprivileged and under served kids in North Long Beach from the Long Beach Job Corps. He has maintained his pricing for the Center for over 10 years, is patient with the kids, and we always can find an appointment when needed. Everyone who works there has a very big heart. We thank you from the bottom of ours.

Dr was okay for eye exam. But the office ladies took advantaged by charging me above the insurance covered glasses. And then when I got my glasses they wanted to charge me to adjust them!! What a rip off. Will never return. Buyer beware!! Went to Walmart on Carson and they treated me better....
