Absolutely astonished after the cataract surgery. Dr Ross-Hirsch and his team were incredible and the results were amazing. I had no idea how bad my vision was until the first eye was done. Now I have 20/20 vision and don’t even need glasses to read. I recommend having the surgery, which was painless and quick. I highly recommend Dr Ross-Hirsch. He’s engaging, thoughtful, helpful and damn good at what he does.

Dr. Schneider and Dr. Sherwood could not have been more fantastic. They are both professional, kind, warm and exceptionally good at what they do. Office staff is amazing as well!! They are on time, so friendly and went above and beyond for me as well. Highly recommend!!

Reviewing specifically regarding Dr. Eleanore Kim and her assistant, after many years of otherwise positive experiences at Stamford Ophthalmology. I went to Dr. Kim for an excision of a cyst and found her and her assistant well-meaning but condescending throughout the consult. I ended up not getting the excision with her. I was visibly nervous and, as I left with a consent form, the assistant told me in a concerned tone to "look it over with my boyfriend." I may look/carry myself young, but I probably have a decade on that assistant, and also reviewed plenty of legal documents while getting my Masters. I think I can handle the consent form myself! I'm sure Dr. Kim is very capable and this is really just about "bedside manner" which isn't all that important in the grand scheme, but the comment keeps nagging at me and the overall behavior at the appointment has made me reluctant to get my treatment. I'd like to write a separate 5star review for Stamford Ophthalmology in general, but can't seem to do 2 reviews with my same Google account. Every other experience through the years has been wonderful. I'm a long-time patient of Dr. Pribis, who has been incredible, attentive, and kind. The office is organized, staff are friendly, and I feel my care has been great--important since I have terrible vision! I do recommend this practice overall.
