I’ve been going here for a few years. Unfortunately I don’t buy my glasses here anymore. They had nice customer service for the most part - but gave 2 stars because of my contacts experience. I did my exam and ordered the contacts - they said they would arrive in 2 weeks. That time came and went and no one called me, I had to keep checking in every few weeks. FOUR months went by, still no contacts, and still no call from them. I was breastfeeding as well so my eyes kept changing and they told me I would need a new exam every 6 months because of that…. Which I understand. So I called them again and they said they still don’t have them and don’t know when they’re coming in. So I asked them for a refund because at this point I’m not even going to use contacts if we have no idea when they’re coming. They would not refund the exam (which I got for contacts) - only the contacts because they said that technically I could use the exam elsewhere (which I didn’t because it would be a waste of money being I already needed a new exam soon). The exam was the most expensive. So 2 stars because they were nice - but minus 3 stars for: -no contacts came after 4 months -no communication -charged me anyways That’s all, have a good day

Got to my 6pm appointment. The girl doing my exam was rushing me saying she had to get everyone out as fast as she can so she can go home. I get it, they close at 7. But my understanding was that a 6pm appointment was available because that was enough time. I was wrong. Apart from being rushed, i chose out my frames fast, and still had to stand around waiting to get helped. Once i sat to get help, it was a waste of time because they knew nothing about insurances. I ended up leaving past 7, with nothing. no pricing, no clue about what my insurance covers. They put my account on hold and told me to come back since it was past closing time and after calling my insurance clarifying what benefits i have

I had an appointment a couple months ago and I then had to come back the next day because I had to see the dr. After my appointment I waited for almost a half an hour to 50 minutes to pay. They couldn’t get there system to cash me out the lady that was helping me said I will call you on Monday to take your payment over the phone a few days have past and still no call so I called and they finally called me back and there system still wasn’t working right to take my payment over the phone. I pretty much got a free eye exam. I will never use or visit a Stanton optical again. I knew I should have gone with my gut and gone to vision works for my eye exams from now on.
