Stephen R. Chun, OD practices at the UC Berkeley Meredith Morgan Eye Center in Berkeley, where he teaches optometric interns and provides optometric vision and eye care. His stated clinical interests include binocular vision, pediatrics, contact lenses, refractive and ocular surgery management, ophthalmic optics, developmental vision, low vision, ocular disease treatment including glaucoma, geriatrics, occupational and sports vision.

Chun founded and manages the Berkeley Optometric Group, his private practice since 1976. He served on the medical staff at Kaiser Permanente Medical Centers in Redwood City and Richmond from 1977 to 2018 and coordinated UC Berkeley international optometry education programs in China and Korea from 1996 to 2014.
