Excellent care!

Steven Eidt has EXCELLENT rapport with patients, is very easy with questions, and will not make you feel rushed. Explanations are clear/well focused and analogies are used to clarify. When I was finished with my 1st visit, just recently (11-13-15), I walked out so satisfied I'd found an eye-doctor to keep, and send my family to. Dr. Eidt's assistant "Katie", is amazing. Personable, erudite, and explains things so very thoroughly. Both Dr. & Asst. are empathic, kind people, and Katie, as I mentioned, make a team you cannot beat for eye care! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Will suggest practice to friends and colleagues, family is already directed to Dr. Eidt.

I just completed my Cataract Surgery done on both eyes by Dr. Eidt. He is a Kind and Compassionate Doctor who made the experience without stress. I am now seeing perfectly. Dr. Eidt and his staff were wonderful.

I had a surgery scheduled. At Glen Brook Hospital with Dr. Stephen, an ophthalmologist, on June 12, 2025, but an hour and a half before the surgery, the doctor's assistant called me and said that the surgery was canceled, no reason was given. Then I found out that the surgery was canceled due to insurance, but no written notice was sent to me. Although the time from the last visit with Dr. Stephen to the surgery was 2 months. Draw your own conclusions.

Dr. Eidt is an excellent professional, with passion for his field and whose assessments and team work, make me feel completely trust in his expertise. I surely recommend him. He doesn't discriminate much the ability to paid by the client but what he can do for him or her. Definitely, a doctor with a heart.
