Steven R. Young, Ocularist, Inc. provides ocular prosthetic services and has done so since 1975. The practice makes custom ocular prosthetics, scleral cover shells, and custom maxillo-facial prosthetics, and it manages orbital growth in infants and small children with micro-ophthalmos.

Steven R. Young is a board approved diplomat ocularist, board certified by the National Examining Board of Ocularists, and trained at the University of Iowa. He serves on the cranio-facial panel at Children's Hospital in Oakland and teaches at Stanford.

The practice uses acrylic plastic and a modified impression method to fit and color each prosthesis.
