This is the best place to come to for eye care. They offer professional exquisite care. They are kind, thorough & efficient. It’s a blessing to come to a place where I know my mother is being taken care of the way they care for her here. They are also flexible when needing to reschedule. I’ve been going here to the eye institute in Stuart for over 40 years and the doctors and the staff are just wonderful. They are very knowledgeable, friendly and I trust my eyes with them.

The communication is poor and unacceptable. We waited for months for this appointment and I was not prepared as I would have been if the staff had informed me of the documentation needed for my newly turned 18 year old and that we would need to reschedule. Upon expressing the fact of not being told it became something it did not need be as the receptionist greatly exaggerated the situation and her and the supervisor became very condescending and the receptionist then became very snarky Incredibly unprofessional. The appointments were already 45 min ago and there are many people still waiting to be seen ahead of this. Then they lied to get my kids kicked out.

My mother has been going to the Port Saint Lucie location for some time now. The nurses are always so friendly and informative. While I wait in the waiting room, Amanda at the front desk is very cheerful and patient with both patients and other coworkers. I recently changed insurances for myself and I had some questions about the company. I’m glad I did she walked me through my coverage and all it entails. At times my mother can be a handful and the nurses are supportive and professional, one of the recent visits, Lady helped us better understand a possible eye-lid surgery, she noticed the fearfulness in my mother and calmed her down perfectly. Dr Nelson Klaus is a superb doctor! He performed cataract surgery last month on both of my eyes and I'm seeing great without glasses for the first time in over 60 years! He is a very compassionate physician and highly skilled!

Ashley you made my experience nothing but delightful and had to share my experience and service received. From meeting the receptionist, to exam, to seeing the doctor was painless with fast service. In the end, meeting with the optical department was service not to be forgotten. The time estimated for my glasses was about 1.5 weeks. I called ahead of time to check if anything changed and they may arrive earlier. So happened I got Ashley on the phone. She immediately offered to call and update me with a status. #1 she returned a status call the same day and shared her finding. Unbelievably, I received my glasses the next day which was about 1 week after the order. Ashley you are to be commended for excellent customer service. I will not forget your remarkable assistance, and this confirms that this practice cares and exhibit what they speak --- in action.

I was taking my aunt to her appointment, and while waiting in my car I witnessed one of the front desk ladies follow an amazon worker out of the building to speak disrespectfully to them, as well as overhearing rude customer service on the phone when I was inside. The experience with the doctor was okay, but the front desk staff left a bad taste in my mouth. Possible we will not be returning.

I have been a patient since my cataract surgery 4 years ago. Except for excessive wait time, I was satisfied with the practice. However, when I called for an emergency visit today (my vision is is dimming in my left eye), I was offered a January appointment.I might be blind by then. Time for a new doctor.

I am a patient of Dr. Klaus and had an emergency. The office got me in almost within an hour after I first called. The waiting room was very busy and I expected to wait a while given the circumstances, but they got me in pretty quickly and Dr. Klaus was very thorough and helpful as always. He even called my primary care physician himself and waited on hold for several minutes to convey the diagnosis and explain it to them. I am very grateful to have had Dr. Klaus and SEI in my corner!

What can be said about this prodigious practice? From the front desk staff, the technicians, the optical department, and the fantastic Ophthalmologist / Optometrist at Stuart Eye. My check-in was swift and welcoming, and all the Doctors were attentive to my concerns. Lastly, thanks to Dr. Carelli for taking the time to aid me with my keratoconus diagnosis.

My husband and I both see Dr. Klaus. We think he is a compassionate, skilled and dedicated doctor. His staff has always been great to work with also. We are extremely happy with the services he provides and the caring that he demonstrates every time we see him! We highly recommend him to our friends.

This week was my first visit to Stuart Eye Institute and my experience was exceptional. The entire staff was wonderful. They were warm, welcoming, professional and very knowlegeable. Dr. Guerrero did a very thorough exam and identified that I had a tear in my retina. He provided a detailed description and explanation of how this occurred and what was needed to address it. His staff scheduled an appointment for me for the next day with a very experienced retinal specialist that performed a laser procedure that addressed the issue before it could become a detached retina. I cannot thank Dr. Guerrero and his team enough for how professionally and quickly they handled this issue for me. I highly recommend them. Thank you Dr. Guerrero and team! You are the best!

OUTTA SIGHT! Dr. Klaus lll removed my cataract this week and put in a new Vivity lens. What an absolutely amazing vision improvement! I'm 76 and I've been wearing glasses since the 8th grade. Dr. Klaus lll was right on the money with his recommendation, his counsel, and his steady hand. Great guy too! The entire staff at Stewart Eye Institute is extremely patient-focused as well. Great experience with Dr O'Melia and staff. They are friendly & efficient. The office is Clean . They made sure i was,well informed and prepared pre and post op for my cataract surgury. They helped sorting out my insurance. The aurgury went well and everything is progressing nicely.

Dr. Nelson Klaus did my cataract surgery and I am thrilled with the results. I had a lot of astigmatism and have had difficulty driving at night all my life. He was able to get my distance prescription down to zero. I know this is unusual as the process is both science and art and most prescriptions are pretty close to zero, so I was fortunate. I'm very happy with the care I received and would recommend them highly (I often do) .
