I have been a patient of Dr. Hardy's since 2017 when he aquired the practice from Dr. Fee. Since I have needed professional eye care since elementary school until the present as a senoir, I have meet with a number of specialists. Dr. Hardy and his team really stand out. They are truly exceptional!

Went in for a same day appointment to confirm pink eye & get a prescription - the appointment was only about 15 minutes with the dr but I was there over an hour & a half. The dr wrote a prescription & I went to the pharmacy to pick it up. It wasn’t in the system when I arrived. Waited 10 minutes, still hadn’t come through. Called the Drs office & was assured it was being sent over. I had to leave to pick up my infant but called the pharm later to confirm the prescription was there. Nope. It was a Friday afternoon & their staff left for the weekend without calling in my prescription for pink eye which I needed immediate relief from, completely negating the reason I even went to the dr in the first place. I ended up treating the condition myself. However, then the bill came. I do not have vision insurance - they charged me $300 to confirm pink eye. They won’t give me an itemized bill because the dr just imputed “new patient - low” which is a pricing strategy on their part. I guess no matter what you come in for or how they conduct the appropriate exam there is a flat fee tier structure they have somehow landed on? When I called to ask about it they said “well it goes up to $600!” As though I should be grateful they didn’t OVER-overcharge for a 15 minute appointment to confirm a very common infection. The appropriate term I believe is “fleecing” the customer. I will be working with their billing department to lower this astronomical charge. No wonder Americans have so much medical debt - the prices are set on a whim.

These people are absolutely wonderful! Everyone spent the time to answer all of my questions. They are committed to making sure that you have all of the info you want and need to make the right choice for glasses, contacts, prescription sunglasses, everything. Dr. Hardy wants to be sure his patients have healthy eyes and knowledgeable and understanding. Also, I've never had contacts before and I wanted to try them and they were more than happy to show me how to put them in and take them out and give me specific instruction on how to do so and for the care of them; talk about patient with me! You couldn't ask for a better group of people/professionals who definitely want what is best for you in the way of your eye care and go above and beyond in helping you get that.
