I had lasik eye surgery on 3/23/2023 at Sun Laser Vision Center and I had a great experience. I was referred there by a friend who also had great things to say. I took advantage of my spring break and went in for the initial consultation to determine if I was a good candidate for lasik. I was a good candidate so I scheduled the next appointment to do more in depth eye tests that same week and had the surgery the following week. They do surgeries on Thursdays. Dr. Foote is a great doctor who takes the time to explain and answer questions. David and Cindy were also great and allowed me to see the surgery rooms and lasers during one of those preliminary appointments which eased some worry. Everyone at the office is welcoming and friendly. During the surgery my husband was able to watch from the other room. Immediately post surgery we were treated to cake and ice cream from an office birthday party! The staff seems like a family and you feel included as a patient! The surgery itself was pain free and I was able to go to work the next day. All I had was some light sensitivity the next day. There are 2 lasers and they only work on your eye for 17 seconds per eye. It was astonishing how fast it was and how incredible the results were. I would recommend this surgery and Dr. Foote and his staff to anyone. The pricing was similar to other locations but the quality of service was much better and the level of expertise much higher. You can’t go to just anyone when it comes to your vision. I am now done with my follow up visits and I will be back in a year. The recovery involved lots of eye drops but it was very manageable. I am so glad I went through with it and no longer wear glasses!

I received PRK from Sun Laser Vision Center. It was a wonderful experience! I’ve had horrible vision since I was 5 years old and this procedure has absolutely changed my life. The staff is so friendly, supportive and knowledgeable. They really walked me through all of my options and were genuinely happy for me after the procedure. I’m so glad to have gone through this experience.

This is my lasik experience review. I went in on October 1st for an annual eye exam. All staff were very friendly and the cleanliness is great. All patients and staff must wear a mask, there is hand sanitizer everywhere, patients must wash hands before being seen, and all equipment is wiped down prior to use. During my appointment I asked about lasik and was able to immediately speak to someone who went through all procedure and financial options. They were kind enough to schedule me for an appointment on October 9th. At my appointment I was seen by David who is very friendly and breaks down everything which made me feel at ease. He also informed me they had a special for law enforcement and government which brought my total under $4k. This includes follow-ups for 6 months. My next appointment was on October 12th where they ran all tests again, set me up with CareCredit (0% interest for 18 months!), and I began taking my eye drops. My lasik prosecute was on October 15th. (They have procedures every Thursday of the week). My boyfriend was able to watch the entire procedure and record it from a separate room through a window. David was there and continued to explain everything which is soooo appreciated when you can't see. They send you home with a backpack containing coupons, goggles, and sunglasses. My eyes did sting for a few hours until I fell asleep but it's now the next morning and I came for my follow-up appointment. I'm 20/20 in my right and 20/15 in my left. Vision will continue to improve over 24 hours so they're going to get better throughout the day. But I'm so satisfied I was eager to already write a review. Sun Laser is a wonderful office with knowledgeable doctors and staff members. I am so happy I came here and I will recommend them to all my friends and coworkers moving forward.
