This was my first experience with this office. It was fantastic. The ladies at the front desk were so nice and welcoming even though they are making the move to a new computer system. The lady doing my exam was equally as great and actually had me laughing. Dr Lewis was very kind and made me feel at ease and was very informative.

I will start out by saying, if you are in need of cataract surgery, reading this will help you differentiate between a great practice and a not so good one. I waited until I felt like I could say that my surgery was a success, and it was. Last December, I knew I needed to have my lens replaced. I went to a very large competitor of Swagel Wooten. The process consisted four visits that would lead up to the surgery. At my second visit, I was told that I have to choose which lens I wanted. They ranged from $9000 to $0. Being on a fixed social security income, I asked about the zero cost one. The doctor told me it was inferior and made me feel like I was doing something wrong. I then went another office to set up all the scheduling for the remaining appointments. There again was asked which one I wanted and was told that the best one was what I needed. After I got home, I felt horrible not wanting to spend upwards of $9000. Then I did something that I haven’t done before, I called Swagel Wooten. I told the receptionist of my experience and she assured me that there would be no hard sell there and that most people took the free lens. What I relief! I wasn’t a second class citizen. My first office experience was great! Everyone was knowledgeable and professional. The four office visits were done with just one. Dr Stutz was fabulous. No pressure and completely informative of the next step. The surgery went very smooth and a complete success. Do yourself a favor and call Swagel Wooten first!
