office staff was good but not impressed with exam or doctor. he did not even mention the eye mapping or how it worked or looked. gave me a stronger prescription for new glasses when I have gone to a pair from years ago. told him the weaker ones were much better but he increased power anyway. barely spoke to me or asked any questions. disappointed because the doctors in Northpark were great. parking is horrible, and I definitely will not go back. went for second opinion and doctor agreed I needed less correction, not more.

I found that the reception was friendly and they answered my questions about me answering the questions on the tablet they gave me. I liked them. I was walked back to a testing area and given the glaucoma and air pressure tests by the receptionist. She was polite and explained what I was going to be doing but no explanation of what the tests were for. I was then taken to the exam room and seated in the chair. Shortly after seating myself, I was handed a form saying that I had declined a retinal exam, what the price of the exam was and that Switalski was not responsible for any issues I may have after the appt. due to my refusal to take the exam. I found this irritating as there had been no discussion of this testing prior to me going into the exam room. There was no other explanation offered except that I could discuss it with the Dr. To me this is a scare tactic and probably works on aged people. I am part of the aged population. The Dr. came in and gave me my exam. I did not bring up the retinal testing. He was pleasant enough, but his answer to my question about cataracts was terse and not inviting of more questions. I felt like he just wanted to move on. I paid my co-payment at the front desk and informed them that I would not be back. Obviously, I won’t be recommending this office to my friends.

My entire experience was extremely pleasant! Dr. Dinh was such a doll! Very patient during examination. The best part was I was getting contacts for the first time ever and his medical assistant, Kanssandra, was so gentle and patient while showing me how to insert and remove. I would definitely recommend coming here!
