My son had eye exam and received eye glass prescription. He is a teen, hasn’t ever worn glasses before and wasn’t too excited. The eye Doctor offered contact exam too. We paid for it and they fit him for a pair of contacts. He had limited success getting them in. They eye doctor was VERY patient with him. She did send a set of contacts home for him to practice with. He came back 2 days later to practice getting them in his eye. He was in the office on a Saturday for 3 hours. Still no success. He took one more pair home to try. I was told he only had 7 days to get them and have success. I was concerned what happens if he isn’t able to get them in by the seven days. He tried and still was unsuccessful- I called to see what my options were. I was told he would need ANOTHER eye exam. It was a nearly $200 exam. No credit. No refund. Nothing but they would be happy to schedule ANOTHER contact exam. I was so angry. At least refund if you can’t provide the prescription I paid for. Total waste of money. They have a nice selection of glasses.

Went in for quick repair but because I had the insurance plan...new frames! Jessica was so helpful and her service was stellar.

I cannot thank Dr. Johnson enough. This was my 3rd eye exam since November 2022. My previous 2 were at a higher-end store in town that I have been going to for over 10 years. Those exams were done by separate optometrists (both telehealth, as they no longer have one on-site). They both failed to see something on my exam that Dr. Johnson caught. I am so grateful to finally have a diagnosis/explanation! I did not have much interaction with the front desk staff, but what little I did have was pleasant. Scheduling online was easy, and I even got a call notifying me that my eye insurance allowance had been exhausted for the year and I would not be able to use it. (It was depleted when I had my first 2 exams in recent months.) They thought to use my medical insurance, which I didn’t even think to mention, so I still saved some money. I will DEFINITELY be getting my next exam with Dr. Johnson. :)
