I had a great experience at Target Optical. Julie was beyond helpful and made me feel like I was part of their family. I got everything I needed in my glasses and they were available within a week of ordering them. I was shocked how quick the turnaround was. I’ll be visiting the Tyler location more often.

I was not informed ahead of time that my exam would be via telehealth. They did not inform me until I was seated in the exam room. This is something they need to let patients know when scheduling the appointment. Some things are fine for telehealth visits - an eye exam is not one of them. Secondly, the doctor informed me my usual brand of contacts Acuvue 2 was discontinued, and she prescribed me a different, and more expensive, Acuvue style. Found out after the appointment that Acuvue 2 was not discontinued, and still available for purchase.

This place is the best for glasses! If you go, make sure to ask for Carolyn she's amazing. I've been a regular here for years because of how helpful she is!
