The girl doing my exam was wonderful she was 5/5 but make sure they actually use your exam benefits because they don’t know how to apply them and then you’re gonna spend days on the phone trying to get your money back and get your benefits applied

Had a Great experience the systems used are awesome! The Doctor very knowledgeable and the staff very helpful and very nice. Recommend to my friends and family!

There was no doctor in person and it was only a virtual visit, I would not have scheduled an appointment here if that was made clear to me beforehand. The in person staff was nice but I'd never go back.

The young women working in the optical center were very helpful. I didn't realize when I booked online that the eye exam was virtual with the optometrist controlling the machine from her computer. I signed off on the virtual exam after arrival at the appointment, but will not consider a virtual exam in the future. It felt rushed. I'm unsure whether or not it was a good or accurate eye exam. The optometrist suggested that I fill the new lens prescription and if it doesn't work out for me I can come back for another exam. I will be paying cash to go to a different optometrist as my insurance only covers one exam per calendar year.

The staff were all lovely. But I left not feeling confident that I received quality care or a reliable prescription due to the optomologist being remote.

From the moment I walked in, everyone was kind, courteous, and very professional. From the three sales associates to the optometrist, it was a great experience.

While the test was OK, it was not obvious at the time of scheduling online that this ‘comprehensive eye exam’ would be conducted by a remote doctor on screen. I recommend making it more clear when scheduling / not just noting it in the extra click small print.

I had a virtual eye exam for contact lens fitting, and I was not expecting it to be so painless and easy to do. I was impressed.

Customer Service was less than bad. I had an appointment at 11:15. I wasn't seen until close to 12:00, with very little explanation of what the delay was for. Front of store staff did not provide any customer service- I wasn't engaged with unless I was asking them questions. Quality of care was the worst I have experienced in more than 100 eye appointments ive had in my life. The equipment was dirty- the medical assistant didn’t bother to clean off the lenses in the machine through which the eye test was performed, making it difficult to see the letters since the lenses were smudged. There was no mention of the doctor being virtual. It would have been fine if: they had told me it was virtual AND if the technology with which virtual medical appointments depend on was working. My visit was further delayed by several minutes because of technical difficulties. The technology never completely worked, resulting in me only being able to hear the doctor. Further, the first several attempts to change screens to test my vision didn't work, and when I voiced this to the doctor, I received a rude response, implying it was my fault. Lastly, when I was finished with the eye exam and went to say, they told me there was an additional fee for the virtual visit. They never told me that when I made the appointment, nor during the near hour that I was waiting in the store. I'm fortunate that this additional fee wasn't anything I couldn't afford, but what if it was? How is that anything other than negligent medical and professional etiquette? The worst part of all of this- the virtual doctor said "we'll see if this prescription works. If it doesn't, feel free to come back and try it again." It's your job to make sure you have the right skills and equipment to make an accurate prescription- not the patient's. That was an absolute slap to the face. I have a history of eye issues that has required me to spend hundreds of hours in eye clinics and has cost me thousands of dollars. I would gladly pay all of those again than spend another $49 in this abhorrent eye clinic.

Customer service was Excellent and that was the best eye exam I’ve had in 30 years.

It was a positive experience in the office with friendly staff (Alex Wyatt & Chris). I was assisted by both Alex and Wyatt in choosing a pair of glasses. They were very professional, helpful and customer friendly. They answered all of my questions and provided clarification on the options with on screen examples, too. I enjoyed visiting this office and will certainly use their services, again.

I've been going to this location for 3 years now, and I've always had a great experience! The staff are all kind and professional and don't push me to purchase things I don't need/want. I was in and out so quickly, but never felt rushed. It's crazy that we live in a world where eye doctors can do exams virtually, but this doctor was wonderful and patient with me. I would absolutely recommend!

Had a contacts exam at Target Optical in Glendale yesterday and sadly it’s unlikely I’ll be back to that location. I was not informed until the appt that the Dr. portion of the exam was virtual & they said because of it, I had to pay for the additional retina photos. They said they had no idea the online booking system didn’t show it was virtual, but I see in several reviews it’s happened to others so they should’ve known. The tech was uncaring to my concerns and it took at least 15-20 mins for the virtual technology to work when seeing the Dr. They also quoted me lower for my torric lens fitting since they’re the soft version, but had to pay the higher of two fees. I would recommend another location or company honestly.

I came in with a weird situation where my glasses were suddenly making my eyes cross and my vision blurred/double. The doctor listened to my concerns and explained everything to me very well. Turns out my eyesight either got drastically ✨BETTER✨ or I was overprescribed before and my eyes finally gave up on straining. The woman at the front desk was also super friendly and listened to me complain a bit too haha. Overall I had a really nice experience 💖

I had an excellent eye exam. The staff was very kind and helpful. They honored my appointment time. The doctor was speedy yet kind and was very thorough in explaining the health of my eyes to me. He also gave me tips for caring for my eyes while wearing contacts. I enjoy Target Optical and will continue to be a patient here.

The two young ladies who helped my wife and I were outstanding! Professional, kind, courteous and knowledgeable! Excellent job! I will be back to get my glasses!

The exam was okay, didn’t feel as thorough as one done with an optometrist face-to-face. As a result of these exams being completed virtually, you are charged an additional $39 on top of your co-pay. I was not made aware of this, otherwise I would have gone elsewhere for the exam.

It was amazing the hole staff was very helpful. I would like to thank Dr. Smith and his staff Chris and Alex.

The optometrist was a treat. The quality of service is great tons of selection of vision, eyewear, and many more products. Customer service is impeccable and quality. Very clean environment, the process of exam and picking out Frames in the transition of entry and exit was very easy. I will highly recommend target opticals to anyone who needs vision wear.

The Dr and staff was very kind and helpful answering any questions I had and explained everything to me.

I did not receive the glasses I ordered and now I have to wait longer to get my new glasses
