Not sure how this place has so many good reviews. I was referred here by my optometrist for a potential major issue, and It was a terrible experience. The waiting room was so crowded people were standing in front of the doors. Once I got called back after about 45 minutes, It was still another 2 hours before I was seen by a doctor. I had to have my toddler with me and obviously that was miserable as he didn’t understand why we were there for so long. While waiting we watched a couple patients also waiting decide it wasn’t worth it, and leave. Once I finally saw the doctor, he basically quickly checked my eyes and said he saw no issues, come back in 6 months and he will look again. Luckily, I got a second opinion at a different practice, and the other doctor diagnosed me immediately upon looking at my eyes. I’m very glad I didn’t trust this Dr’s (Casey something?) opinion.

Dr Ben H was very thorough and of course very kind. At least 2 other doctors previously looked at a small thing on my eye lid w/o concern even with me pointing it out. He sent me straight to get it biopsied and of course it was cancer. Even if that had not happened, I’d still highly recommend him.

Apparently it is the norm to wait a really long time for an appointment here. It was 1 hour 45 minutes after my appointment time until I was seen. I asked the front desk if this was typical to have this long of a wait and she confirmed it was. So, obviously they have a staff shortage, or a scheduling problem or something not quite right. However, I don’t enjoy going somewhere quite this disorganized and nonchalant about someone’s time. The staff was rather unfriendly as well. I work in healthcare. I know it should be better than this.
