Called for a consult for LASIK. I was told that the Dr. Trans or whatever his name is does not do LASIK on anyone OVER 30! Reason being is because I’m 20 years they’ll need catarac surgery anyways. He prefers to do lasik on 25 yr olds. Someone explain to me because it doesn’t make sense from my research. Vision in your 20s it’s not always steady, and after 40 vision changes. Also, if in 20 yrs I get cataracts or not it’s 20 yrs that I chose to see better. Nothing sounded right and I’m glad they denied me.

The office is so nice.. The receptionist Victoria (i think is her name) i think is the best medical receptionist i've encountered, she is on top of the patients stuff.. I felt comfortable when I walked in the office as she greeted me and talked to me as if I've been a long term patient..She said she'd call me back for any of my questions when we communicated over the phone. The Dr here is just as welcoming as the receptionist. Both doctors were thorough with the answers to my questions and also made me feel comfortable. Great sense of humor doctors. I will continue to get my exams here, as I just moved here in Arlington two months ago...
