The optometrist and technician were great. Good solid experience with them. What was disturbing was that the minute you walk in you can tell the manager in the optical frame are is trying to make a sale. They will not allow you to use your frames to send off for lenses which is ridiculous. Yes they lost the sale of a pair of glasses but could have made money on 3 pairs of lenses that were needed for my frames. Also I asked them to help me with my pupillary distance and same manager guy told me that he would have to charge me $15 to measure this. Shady shady place. Not going back. They are totally lacking in how to retain a customer base. Unfortunate.

It was very refreshing to be treated like we mattered even though we didn't have a lot of money. I am very thankful for Texas Optical making quality care accessable to everyone. The test were advanced and we received quality care by all the staff. Friendly, understanding, helpful, and professional.

I tried to call them but they never answered the phone. I left voicemails. By the time they called me back my insurance had expired. A whole month later. They used to answer their phone a year+ ago. It's better to go in person.
