I feel I’ve been fooled in the Eyewear center. I came to the optical department with a new Rx and showed them my previous progressive lenses from Eyeglass world with my selections to make me the same pair. I understood they could do the same quality. When I came to pick them up I couldn’t see through because the measurements were 4mm off and I could see reflection of the light in front of me because the lenses were sooo thick . I was told that it’s because I didn’t upgrade it to an antiglare coating. I payed additional $125 to previously payed $789 out of my pocket. I came to pick them up the second time and still couldn’t see well, the reflection was still there and everything was magnified like I was seeing in 3D . I was sent back to the doctor to recheck my prescription. The prescription was right. Again I was told it’s because I haven’t upgraded to the thin lenses and they wanted me to pay additional $$$. My old glasses were made at Eyeglass World without the upgrade to thin lenses and the lenses are 3 times thinner than the ones they made it for me . I believed they could do the same quality glasses. No they cannot. And I was informed that my frames are final purchase but my lenses are not. I was misinformed, nothing is refundable. Currently they are changing the curve on my glasses but I am skeptical any changes they make will fix it. Regardless of the results I am never coming back again to make my glasses there.

I sat down to get my new glasses. I stated immediately I really can't see. I was told to try them a couple weeks if not better bring them bk. They were so bad I made a 2nd eye exam. Which came back totally different from my last prescription. Matter of fact I didn't need new glasses. This is after paying 500 plus for one pair. Next time I'll go back to Costco. I've never had a problem and I get 2 pair for a 100$ less. They gave me half of. I honestly didn't want them and they fall off my face. Only extreme issues will I go back. Last time or 2 or I saw Dr. Fogg he was kinda dismissing off me. Don't think I'll be back.

I was seen by Dr. Vyoma Shah a while ago and she was the sweetest doctor I have ever met. She was had such welcoming smile with and without her mask. She answered all my questions (I had a lot) willingly and in way I could understand. She wasn’t even supposed to be my doctor that day, my doctor had something to attend to on short notice and Dr. Shah, who had many patients of her own to attend to, made time to fit me into her schedule and even did it with a smile on her face. My only complaint with Eye Medical Center is that they didn’t tell me that my doctor wasn’t coming until 30-40 minutes into me waiting past my scheduled appointment time, but I’m sure there was good reason, they may have just been trying to get organized after a total shift in their day due to unforeseen circumstances. I didn’t mind the wait. I understood and was just so grateful that Dr. Shah has so much patience to go above and beyond to be of service to patients whether they are hers or not. Definitely recommend Dr. Shah and Eye Medical Center.
