I give Ashley 5 stars, what a pleasure and a relief to have someone actually listen to what you have to say without being rude and rushing you off of the phone. You are a true asset to The Cataract and Laser Institute. Your compassion and kindness are so appreciated by me and the rest of the patients. Thank you so much for helping me and actually caring. Contrary to previous review, I disagree with what the remarks were implying, ,that the technicians couldn’t answer questions and didn’t know what procedure they were performing . The technician I had was extremely informative and knowledgeable. Dr Chun was cool, he made me feel comfortable so I’m glad I didn’t get a new doctor. He is a little vague when asking him questions but I just think it’s his personality. He tested me for glaucoma, I said, “do I have it , he said “no not yet” well damn, that’s one positive dr., I had to laugh. The lady’s at the front desk are kind and funny. I like this place

Dr. Benjamin Chun - The Golden Hands Doctor! I recently had two firsts in my life - cataract surgery and the surgery completed in a non-hospital setting. Both were absolutely awesome. Dr. Chun knew I was apprehensive and took extra time with me and described EVERY procedure. There was NO PAIN. To say that I trust Dr. Chun would be the understatement of the year. His staff are all very, very knowledgeable, especially Kerrie (with a K) who explained all the details of the pre-surgery items. This experience was so wonderful that just yesterday I scheduled the cataract surgery for my other eye! After just one eye being "done", my eyesight has vastly improved. Thank you Dr. Chun and God Bless You!!!

I would rate a zero if allowed to do so, the entire experience has been atrocious and a complete nightmare. After finding a Groupon for laser hair removal services, I decided to try it out. My first experience was marked by an unwelcoming office that was not open during the posted hours and after calling the number listed I spoke with Zoe, the technician. We scheduled an appointment for later in the week and to her suggestion, we went with a direct payment rather than the Groupon that caught my eye. After my first session of 4 areas, only 30% of the treated hair was affected. I called and left a message and did not hear back until several days, and calls later, in which I stated that I would pursue a refund. This got their attention and the response was that I needed 6 more treatments to see the maximum effectiveness. Fearing the loss of the money that was already paid, I continued with the service, regrettably. Each session left areas untreated and when mentioned I was told to use the next session for those areas. Scheduling is another migraine in the making as Zoe has other jobs and schedules for her convenience. The amount of time that she allows between sessions is less than 1 month at max. One attempt at scheduling took 10 days and multiple calls to get completed and I was told the office is not always available as it is shared with a doctor of some sort. During my last visit, I was greeted with a shout from the back rather than the customary hello, please follow me routine that we are used from a medical professional. Over the course of the treatment, I learned that the armpit and arm have a distinct, yet very vague, cut off and that she will not go beyond this ambiguous line, not even for one hair that she "missed" before. Raising questions became a battle of patience that any parent of a toddler can agree sometimes you just have to cut your losses for the sake of sanity, In scheduling the last session, I was able to get another technician who can book further out and although the time was unfavorable, and questionable given the openness of their calendar, I will be relieved to be finally done with this business. The focus seems to be on profit and their convenience over professionalism and customer satisfaction. I would only recommend this place as a case study for future entrepreneurs on what not to do and am giving serious thought to writing to both the BBB and the health department as no one should have to endure the experience that I have had. Save the $1,000.00 for another more adept business or take your chances and stock up on patience and Advil, you will need a lot of both to deal with Zoe.
