The Eye Care Group is a multi-specialty ophthalmology practice in Connecticut, in continuing practice since 1974. It provides comprehensive eye care across all fields of ophthalmology, including retina-vitreous, glaucoma, cornea-external disease, refractive surgery, neuro-ophthalmology, pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus, and oculoplastic services.

The practice has 18 board certified ophthalmologists, each with a unique area of expertise, and doctors hold clinical appointments at Yale University and take part in clinical research trials. Its team includes a low vision specialist, certified orthoptists, certified ophthalmic technicians and assistants, certified retinal angiographers, and licensed opticians. It operates four office locations.

The Eye Care Group was very efficient. I waited in the waiting room for less than five minutes before being summoned into an exam room. The two technicians were professional, personable and made me feel at ease. Dr. Branden who came highly recommended answered my questions and made recommendations based on my eyes. I trust his judgement. With my time table I will need to wait until May for the surgery. It will be a surgery I look forward to having!

Everyone who I was seen by was amazing. I was there for a cataract consultation and received many different tests, including a complete eye exam. Everyone was so thorough and pleasant and cared about my comfort. Dr Dao was amazing. Kind, friendly and so many other good things. The only thing that I wish had happened is to have been informed in advance that the appointment would be almost 3 hours. Other than that, it was an amazing experience.

Another wonderful experience today for my son's appointment. Seemed to move a bit speedier than in past. Going to miss Dr. Thornquist. Hope he has a wonderful retirement!!
