When Dr. Harvey Ohriner was running things, I would never have had the issues that I've had now. The doctor was condescending, I brought my two teenagers with me and when I asked him what their new prescription was, he told me "it's 6 numbers and you wouldn't understand", really? I've been wearing glasses and contacts for 40 years. I know exactly what each number means, how dare you sir. I got a weird vibe from the staff and thought it was just me until my 15 yr old daughter said the exact same thing. Then to top it off, I ordered contacts and the doctor said, "do you want the trial pair? Might as well since they're free." So I said sure, a free pair is great.....When I called to see if my contacts were in a week and a half later, I was told no, only the trial pair showed up. Then I got a call an hour later that all of the boxes were there. So I sent my wife to pick them up since I work nights and sleep during the day. When she got there they only gave her the trial pair. I called to see why and the staff told me that they have us take home the trial pair for a week to make sure that we like the contacts before they give them to me. Well I paid for them, it's the same contacts I've had for years. Why would they not give me all of the boxes? The doctor told me just to go ahead and get them since they were free. So they said we could come back and get them, I would have rather have had them the first time since it is very difficult for us to get there during their business hours and my wife is now at the store with a cart full of groceries. I after 15+ years my family of five is done with this business.

I'm writing this review for one reason and one reason only. Run.
I called the eye care center on June 29th. And asked if we can get glasses for my daughter ordered. They said as long as I was there prior to 4pm she would be seen that day.
I got there at 3:35 and was told "I'm sorry there is no way we can see you today, but I can get you an appointment for tomorrow."
Ok cool no big deal I didn't just drive 30 mins to make it in time with 4 kids. As I'm walking out I hear Carmen tell the coworker "I have to go" so I'm assuming she left early and simply just didn't want to deal with me.
Fast forward to today. JULY 20TH. I was told multiple times last week that the glasses would be ready for pick up today. Carmen tells me today that they will not be ready until next week sometime. And "if you want to cancel and go somewhere else to buy the glasses you can"
These were ordered June 30th. I paid an upgrade on them. And I was told two weeks. It's almost been a month.
Customer service is a virtue. And this Carmen girl does not have it. If you don't like your job, I'm sure there are MILLIONS of people waiting to apply tbh. I'm disgusted.

Since I’ve been in Nevada I come to the eye center every year for my exam and new glasses usually I’m sold but this last visit just was not it. The lady doctor was amazing but the young lady with the very long nails I just don’t think she likes her job. She demonstrates such poor customer service. She started off rude and as she didn’t even feel like doing her job. Tighten up on those customer service skills it keep your customers coming back.
