I had been thinking about getting LASIK for years. I’ve had glasses since fourth grade and tried contacts, but they really irritated my eyes and weren’t a good fit. I finally decided that there was no time like the present and six months before my wedding, I called and made my free LASIK consultation appointment. The staff were so welcoming and friendly, and they answered all of my questions during the consultation and shared their own experiences. I was with Dr. Springs and felt very comfortable with him being the doctor performing the procedure. The date of the procedure was so smooth and it really happen very quickly. All the sudden I was in the chair and then it was over! I had my goggles on and went home to take my nap. Waking up, being able to see and open my eyes without having to put glasses on is just the most amazing feeling ever. Im now over 6 months post operation and still love my experience with Dr. Springs and the Wilmington Eye team.

When I decided to go about my Lasik journey, Dr Leone was the person that came to mind. I worked for WE and she was phenomenal and always had the patients best interest in mind. My procedure was in 4/2023 and my only regret is not getting it sooner. My vision now is 20/15, which is better than perfect. I am quite pleased.
