The Optical Shoppe is a Smyrna optometry practice led by Dr. Paul Trapeni, Jr. It provides eye exams, contact lens fitting including difficult fits, dry eye treatment, and glaucoma diagnosis and care.
Dr. Trapeni earned his Doctor of Optometry from Southern College of Optometry and completed a residency focused on corneal disease. He specializes in keratoconus, post-RK and post-LASIK complications. He established the Smyrna location in 1989 and accepts private insurance and Care Credit.

This was the most in depth examination I have had in a very long time. Everyone is so kind and helpful. Chris assisted me in picking out frames by asking a few simple questions and nailed it! Everything was explained and options given.
I love this place and will not go anywhere else from now on.
