Dr. Selem and his office are great! During my pregnancy I suddenly got a bunch of large chalazions on both eyes. After seeing another ophthalmologist who injected them with a steroid and then when they continued to grow said he couldn’t do anything else for me - my OB recommended I kept calling around and I luckily found Dr. Selem. I called on a Monday and was able to get them removed two days later. I was SOOO nervous and he made the procedure as quick and painless as possible, even with there being a lot he had to remove on both eyes. He made sure anything he was using was cleared by my OB first which was a different experience than what I had with my previous ophthalmologist and it made me feel very comfortable. I honestly could not recommend Dr. Selem and his office enough. I am so grateful to look more like myself again.

In 2019 I was diagnosed with a eye/vision condition and treated by three different ophthalmologists including Bascom Palmer. My vision was deteriorating for 4 years. My PCP recommended to see Dr. J Selem. In one visit Dr. Selem properly diagnosed and recommended for me to see another ophthalmologist specialist. The specialist evaluated me and provided me evidence of the appropriate diagnosis, the same as Dr. Selem. Dr. Selem at every visit was very professional and courteous. He is an ambassador of his profession. His staff is just as awesome. Thank you Dr. Selem for saving my eyes and sight.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
