I've been going to TLC for almost 15 years, and can't say enough good things about them. I've seen both Dr Concepcion and Dr Kim, and they are both fantastic. I have a very heavy astigmatism in one eye on a weird angle (Dr Kim said it's a 1/1000 case) and they do an excellent job of helping me manage it and get glasses that will work the best they can (I tried switching to a well established doctor closer to home once, and it was a disaster). They also did some routine imagining on my wife's eyes and caught a condition that if left untreated, she could have gone blind. So they saved her vision that day. I would never expect such top-notch optometrists to be hiding inside a Costco, but I'm so glad I found them.

On October 31, I visited the office to schedule an appointment. I explained to the assistant that I need a prescription for contact lenses and that I had never used them before. I was given an appointment for November 2nd. As usual, on the day of the appointment, I received a reminder about it. On the appointed time I arrived at the office but they refused to provide me the service! They said that today they only do prescriptions for glasses, and that I should have warned them that I wanted contacts. But I warned the assistant about this 2 days ago, when I made the appointment! Current situation is the assistant's mistake! And the assistant's mistake became my problem! I was upset, I didn't receive medical service. I lost a lot of time and a working day. And the doctor's assistant and the doctor continued to act as if it was not their fault, like it's my own fault. This is a completely unethical attitude towards patients. This is an absolutely disregardful attitude towards other people's time. You can't treat people like that ☹️Terrible service.

Optometrists have always had a difficult time figuring out my prescription due to a challenging astigmatism. I was skeptical about getting an eye exam in a Costco but my old prescription was not working well for me and I feared it was time to change from a single vision lens to a progressive. Dr. Concepcion and her staff were great. The exam was quick, easy and thorough. We discussed all my concerns and pertinent medical history. I walked out, ordered my glasses and felt excited to get my new glasses because I had confidence that she had gotten the prescription right. One week later I got the call that my glasses were ready. I went the to pick them up and from the first time I put them on they were perfect. To my surprise, adjusting to the progressive lens was not an issue. I would not hesitate to go here for your vision needs.
