My overall experience wasn’t anything to brag about at this location. I waited over an hour & a half to be seen for a routine eye exam (after my original appt time) with only 2 other patients in the waiting room. The staff seemed pretty full, yet very slow/behind getting paperwork processed & patients checked-in: all & all the staff ended up being decently comforting during my actual visit as well as the optometrist after finally getting into the room. I’m not sure if it was just me, but it did very much so fell as if the doctor was in a rush to get me in & out after finally getting into the chair to be seen. Perhaps look for a different location if you want a more thorough & knowledgeable visit/exam.

I called to book an annual eye exam. When asked which location, I chose the Dickerson Pike clinic as this is the side of town I live on. They confirmed the location and even texted me a confirmation of my appointment with the location address. I showed up the day of to find the clinic was closed. I called and they said my appointment was booked in Green Hills and this location is only open on Tuesdays. I explained what happened and they acted as if it was my mistake - not theirs. They told me to drive to Green Hills, which would have made me 30 minutes late to my appointment, and I declined. When asked if I wanted to reschedule I declined. Clearly they have so many locations and so much business they could care less about their customers.

My appointment was fast and easy. I came in for my annual eye exam and to get a new contacts prescription. I felt like Dr. Ellis took the time to address all of my concerns and the staff was very friendly.
