Drs here are great. Quick efficient service and listen to your concerns. The office staff on the other hand is not so great. My daughter had an appointment in August I believe it was to get contacts, they called her back for the lesson on how to put them in and have her a trial pair to wear for a week. Said to call back in a week to either finalize the contacts or try a different pair. She called for two weeks every time they said the contact girl was out and she’d call her back by end of day. Took a month before we finally got someone to finalize the order for the contacts. They billed insurance and charged my daughter. This was early September. We’re now going into November and we still have NO contacts and they can’t figure out why or what happened. Super disappointed in this front office staff and whoever manages the contacts part. I’m about to file a grievance with my insurance and contact the bank for a chargeback since my daughter is still wearing trial contacts for 2 months now because they can’t figure out what they’re doing.

Listen to the reviews! Doctors are great, front office staff is awful, rude and unhelpful. Doctor sent us home with trial lenses and told us to call when my daughter decided which she preferred and he would finalize the script. After 3 calls with no help, my daughter went in office where they accused her of losing the prescription and gave her a terrible time. Thank goodness she was able to talk with the the Dr, who finalized the script. Front office staff are the first and last people you see, we wont be returning after this treatment.

Staff was friendly but felt because of my age cataract surgery is easy money. Turns out with my second opinion I had no cataract so all that time and money spent my vision would be no better. Glad I went somewhere else.

I had a great experience at TriCounty Eye Institute from start to finish. visit went smooth and stress-free. The doctor was thorough, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything clearly, answering all of my questions without rushing. I especially want to highlight Jacky at checkout—she was incredibly friendly, patient, and helpful. She made the final steps of the appointment quick and easy, and her positive attitude really stood out. She was able to find me an appointment sooner than expected. Overall, the level of care and customer service here is excellent. I would definitely recommend TriCounty Eye Institute to anyone looking for a professional and welcoming eye care provider.

I have been going to this practice for over 22 yrs with my family members. I started myself over 3 yrs ago. Dr Schneider is one of the best. Dr Elledge who is a new addition to this practice is very good. The staff are professional, helpful and curteous. Their instruments are very advanced. You can not have a better practice. Their communication is advanced too.

I will get to the point. Dr. J. Truong would not listen to my concerns. I told him I have blurry vision, I see flashes of light, and my eye feels swollen. I drive a simi truck and he thinks it’s ok for me to drive and put peoples lives at risk on the highway with subpar vision. SMH. Don’t walk run the other way to see someone else for your Vision needs.

But, they have been nothing less than great for taking care of us, and tending to our needs. They're caring and a special thanks to Dr Eldridge for performing the surgery. Went to TriCounty Eye Institute to get my yearly eye exam, which I admit I don't do as often as I should, and I couldn't be happier with my choice to go there. All the staff was great throughout the whole process and Nancy was exceptional at being patient with me while I tried on a million glasses till I found some I liked. I would definitely recommend to others. I also took a family member there on a more recent occasion and they also were attended with the same great level professionalism I expect from TriCounty.

Wow I really hate this place they just wasted 40 minutes of my wife's time at lunch today and refused to give he her trial contacts and had a real attitude problem to go with it. I am so glad I cancelled my appt. they don't deserve our business anymore really gone down hill fast since change or ownership. I wish I could give them a zero star honestly. Will drive to Ontario eye doctor for better service worth the drive. I sent my wife there she was rushed and frustrated it was obvious they wanted to leave for the day. I am canceling my appointment with them and will go elsewhere 2nd time the doctors made her feel rushed even after paying full fare.

Tri-County never lets me down! All of the doctors have always been so helpful and quick. The staff is so friendly, I feel like I'm with family while I'm there. Becki is always a pleasure to interact with and helps my family and me find just the right pair of glasses every time. Thank you for all that you guys do.

I wouldn't send my worst enemy to this place. Ever since Dr. Mark Schneider left it has not been the same. Dr. Samantha Schneider-Johnson, his daughter, took over the practice, but Nancy seems to think she is the doctor and makes all the decisions. I awoke during my cataract surgery on my right eye (with Dr. Mark Schneider) and was evaluated for my left by his daughter. The doctor said no problem but as soon as my insurance would not pay for it, I would be paying cash, they cancelled my appts without telling me and told me I needed an anesthesiologist at a hospital to get the surgery. Dr. Samantha Schneider-Johnson would have said that when I had an evaluation earlier, but she didn't. It was all an excuse to not see me because I asked them to write a letter to my insurance company to try to recoup some of the cash it would have cost me back. They outright refused. Please. Think twice before you go here. They don't return calls. They're rude but basically, they are about the money not your eyesight.

Customer for over 20 years…this place of business has been on a downhill spiral for a few years now. No customer service whatsoever…they list their way. Use to be top notch optical care now you might as well go to the cheapest place you can find because you get the same service….NONE! This organization takes no pride with regard to customer satisfaction. They don’t return phone calls. Their optical department has poor selection as compared to the past. Time to find a new vision care and surgery center. Dr. Schneider is no longer doing surgery either☹️

Made an appointment and they kept me waiting for 45 minutes before anyone called me up. Turned in my new patient paperwork 5 minutes after appointment time. Front desk called my cell as I was driving home. No apology or anything.

Waste of time. Wait time was ridiculously long. Dr I saw there was extremely rude and did nothing about my concerns of the eyes. They provide zero patient privacy. I had to personally get up and close the door to get some privacy to talk to Dr about my health issues. It was a huge disappointment and what a waste of time! Don’t waste your time and go somewhere else.

Top-Notch Eye Care with a Truly Wonderful Team! I can’t say enough great things about my experience with Dr. Samantha Schneider and her amazing team. Dr. Schneider is not only incredibly knowledgeable and professional, but also warm, approachable, and genuinely caring. She took the time to explain everything in detail and made me feel completely at ease during the entire exam. Jessie, her nurse, was just as fantastic—friendly, efficient, and so reassuring throughout the process. She clearly knows her stuff and helped make my visit smooth and stress-free. A special shout-out to the front desk girls as well! They were welcoming, organized, and went above and beyond to make check-in and scheduling a breeze. You can tell this office truly values patient care from the moment you walk in. This is hands down the best eye care experience I’ve ever had. I highly recommend Dr. Schneider and her incredible team—you’ll be in excellent hands!

I had a great first experience at Tri County! The technician Nancy was very friendly and attentive. She explained everything that was going to be done to me, and worked me up to see Dr. Lee. Dr. Lee was very informative and helped me out with my vision needs! Definitely will be going back next year for my yearly exam!

They will tell you they will call you back and forget. My wife has been waiting to receive assistance regarding contacts and no one in this office has been able to help— the only person who can is constantly busy and never calls back. Once we get what we need we are leaving this service.

Visit WAS going great until it came to picking out glasses, I waited 45 minutes to pick out glasses just for the glasses coordinator to tell me my insurance did not cover glasses this year. Could of just saved me time if they would of notified me from the beginning. When asked who was suppose to notify me, NO ONE gave me a direct answer. They just said whoever verified my insurance should of told you… pretty upset that I wasted 45 minutes. Ladies should communicate better and be more organized. Front desk forgot to give my follow up appointment. Doctor was great therefore 3 stars.
