Very professional office. Kind, helpful employees. Dr. Lim is such a great surgeon. You feel confident with him.

The customer service experience needs significant improvement. It is extremely difficult to reach a live representative by phone. After remaining on hold for several minutes, the call is transferred to voicemail, and calls are rarely, if ever, returned. This makes it frustrating to get assistance when needed. Improving phone accessibility and ensuring timely callback responses would greatly enhance the overall customer experience.

They dont pick up the phone & don't return calls when you leave a message.

Stay away from this office. They won’t let you know if your insurance will cover the visit and will call you with an appointment consistently, then will not even give you a prescription for glasses because they will want to charge extra and then send a 600$ bill for doing absolutely nothing. What a scam!!!!!!

Had to wait 45 minutes past my appointment time just to get seen. The doctor didnt seem interested in hearing what I actually wanted to ask about my vision blurring issues just rushed through everything so fast I felt like a number not a person... The front desk staff were on thier phones the whole time and barely looked up at me when I came in. They made me wait another 20 minutes at the end just to get someone to answer billing questions. Definitely wont be coming back here, way too many other options for eye care in Agoura Hills that actually value peoples time...

They never pick up your calls or call back. How does one ever get an appointment?

I'm getting great care at the eye clinic. Very thorough exams with cutting edge equipment. I am taken in promptly. Parking is free and is plentiful. I have confidence in the care I receive.

I have 8 doctors and teams. UCLA Health is the best in care, coordination and support serving my medical needs for 24 years. My confidence has been aquired while learning how individual doctors and staff have made their way to this place. UCLA is a place with remarkable people and solutions. Consistently, they strive hard and rarely is patience needed on my part. All is very worthwhile, respectfully. Alternative medical circumstances have not always been great for me. I am a Type 1 diabetic for 55 years and functioning smoothly. Thank you UCLA for being there.

The best eye care in the World.

Unlike the main Stein Eye Center in Westwood, customer service at the Calabasas location is extremely poor. Calls often go unanswered regardless of when you call, leading to long hold times and a prompt to leave a voicemail—yet callbacks never occur. Other patients have reported similar complaints about the lack of responsiveness. This reflects poorly on the overall standards of the UCLA medical system and suggests a need for stronger administrative oversight.

Dr Velez seems like a great doctor but a one star due to the terrible organization and service on the admin and office side Been here three times with our infant and each time we are waiting over almost an hour past our appointment times due to “no rooms available” Very disappointing and frustrating

I’ve been trying to contact this facilty to set up an appointment. They only take messages but have not received any phone call back. Very frustrating.!!!

Wanted to thank Joshua who answers your appointment line for Calabasis. His empathy and prompt attention to an urgent matter was beyond appreciated. I'd consider him for promotion if it were up to me! He is a gem and understands that patients and doctor relationships are built on trust and care, he truely excels at this.

I’ve tried calling multiple times—over 20 attempts—even during regular business hours, but no one is answering. This is extremely frustrating and unacceptable.

My son and I have been seen at the Stein Center in Calabasas (Dr Velez, Dr Karlin). We were going all the way to Westwood's Stein Eye center before. The doctors at both centers are world-renowned and are the creme de la creme in Opthalmology. I feel fortunate to have them so close to my home now. They are simply the best!

This is the worst place ever. I have called over 15 times, I always get the answering service. No one calls back and they never answer their phone. I am asking them to do one thing and they can't seem to do it. My new doctor there Dr. Karlin is not on my portal, so I can't even email him. Will probably switch doctors or insurance because they are causing me so much stress and wasting my time trying to reach them. I do not recommend them. The location in Westwood is much better.

Do not even stress yourself out trying — it is impossible to get ahold of the appointment scheduling team, i called for 4 weeks straight and even have a referral! Santa Monica UCLA eye center got me on the books right away, just call them. This office is a bad look for UCLA.

My appointment was scheduled for 12:00 noon. I arrived 10 minutes early and checked in at the desk. I had pre checked in online as directed. At 12:30 I asked what the situation was and was told that it would be another 30 - 45 minutes. Seems like I could have been warned of a 1 hour + wait at check in. When asked the receptionist said Dr Abadi always runs behind schedule. I guess my recommendation is to not schedule an appointment with a Dr that historically runs 1 hour + behind schedule. Also would recommend management find a way to instruct the receptionists on how to inform patients when there will be a long wait.

Staff is friendly and helpful. Sometimes the wait can’t be helped

Does it 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒚 take you guys 3-5 days to return a patients call? Some of us are losing our eye sight over here, you really need to get back to people and get it together. …

Really - we should be able to give negative stars. I was supposed to have an eyelid surgery on October 22. Haven’t had a call back AT ALL

My wife has been to 5 specialist. Dr Karlin is the first doctor to help and he is so nice.
