My recent interaction with this ophthalmology clinic has left me deeply disappointed and frustrated. I reached out to schedule an appointment for my strabismus condition, hoping to receive professional and compassionate care. However, the treatment I received was far from what I expected.
The staff I encountered during my call were exceptionally rude and disrespectful. Instead of addressing my concerns and providing assistance, I was met with dismissive and condescending remarks. It is disheartening to be treated in such an unprofessional manner, especially when seeking help for a medical condition.
I believe that every patient deserves to be treated with respect and empathy, particularly when dealing with medical issues. My experience with this clinic has been the complete opposite, and it has left me hesitant to pursue treatment here. I hope they can take steps to improve their patient interaction and communication in the future.

I should’ve read all the reviews before I schedule an appointment. I wasted so much time . My experience was absolutely terrible from the beginning until I decide to cancel all coming up appointments Including surgery and went to different clinic.

This is for the UCSF Optometry in Berkeley. All my specialists and PC Drs are with UCSF since 2015. Today, I arrived on time for my appointment with optometry and was still in the waiting room 35 minutes later. I was in a 1 hr parking spot and had to return to work. I drove 30 mts to make this appointment. The receptionist apologized and explained that optometry had overbooked patients and I would likely be seen in 1 hour. So disrespectful to patients. UCSF should invest in more Drs and assistants if they want their customer base to grow in Berkeley. I will not reschedule with optometry at UCSF again.
