Dr. Conahan is truly amazing! My whole life I dealt with horrible eyesight, wearing thick glasses and contacts that didn't really help a whole lot. At the age of 27 I decided I wanted LASIK!! After a very short procedure, Dr. Conahan changed my life! I sat up and could see better than I had ever seen in my life! Every person that I had the pleasure of meeting in his office was so welcome long and compassionate. I highly recommend United Eye Centers and won't ever go anywhere else.

I am correcting my original post after the billing department got back with me after my review. The billing department finally called me and we worked out the issue with my insurance company and their billing. It took about 2 weeks for them to call me. As far as the eye exam, it was great and so was Dr Conahan. It was speedy but it got the job done. My original review: "Beware! Their billing department is the worst! Even with a referral they will bill you for the eye appointment. I keep calling and sending letters that they billed insurance incorrectly (different than what my referral code was) and they keep sending me bills. Incompetent organization."

I know I was squeezed in between Dr. Conahan's pre-booked appointments for the day, as my primary physician rushed me over last minute because we had no idea what was going on with my eye - but I was treated extremely brusquely and referred to a different specialist with a note from Dr. Conahan that my condition was "either inflammation or tumor but no rush". No patient hears "tumor" and thinks "no rush". If I had followed Conahan's "no rush" orders and waited the three weeks for my next appointment, I would have gone into the hospital in septic shock as it turns out it was a really rare presentation of leukemia in the form of a tumor in my eye. Happy ending though - I didn't wait, the specialist he referred me to, Dr. Fish at Corneal Consultants, was amazing and I got cancer treatment started early.
