Long wait for appointment, long wait during appointment. Useless exam and information. Waste of time, money, and patience.

I really don’t leave reviews but I am going to because your EYES/EYE SIGHT is something we can never regain once lost. Over the weekend I paid a visit to the ER in University I checked in at 2 am ish and got checked in 3 times before they bothered giving me anything for the pain & discomfort I was experiencing. At about 7 am I was then finally awakened by a nurse who put a steroid in my eye and a cream. My eye pressure was not checked or the usual run down they do. I’m aware she is just a nurse but not even the DOCTOR DID ANYTHING WHEN SHE ARRIVED. No love, care or attention I was just another person she needed to “help and get out” of the ER a LOUSY ON CALL DOCTOR!! I was referred to this office by the ER and I must say the lack of care and knowledge left me baffled. My eye was still blood shot red, irritated and in pain you would think they wanted to immediately help me. They did the good ol usual again steroid in my eye antibiotic. FINALLY checked the pressure and what they do. Then told me I’m good to go come back on Thursday. They didn’t educate me on what was going on but a scar and I asked if they can put a bandage contact on and said no I don’t need it to “TRUST HIM”. Mind you the skin in my eye lifted like skin lifts above the nail just so you can imagine the pain I’m in. They could’ve applied a bandage to help it from causing a discomfort as I blinked. How is a wound supposed to heal if it’s constantly irritated? It’s like picking at a cut, it will never heal!! I didn’t trust the visit so I went to my doctor.. she instantly said I could you are in an insane amount of pain and your eye is extremely irritated. She took me in, took care of me and TOLD ME MY EYE WAS HORRIBLE THE SCAR I HAD WAS SO BAD IT IS A DANGER TO MY EYESIGHT. She prescribed me a steroid, told me to increase the amount of anti biotic I’m applying and requested to see me tomorrow. THATS LOVE AND CARE, she even enlightened me on what caused such a deep scar but I don’t remember it for verbatim. THIS IS NOT A REVIEW TO THROW SHADE TO THIS BUSINESS BUT TO TELL YOU, YOU COME FIRST GOING TO THIS CLINIC IS A DISSERVICE TO YOURSELF. They were trying to charge 500$+ for the bs they did and my doctor charged me only 65$….

The worst part is waiting 3 hours, they're not friendly at all. If I could, I wouldn't give it even one star. I don't plan on returning to this department.

My experience with my son at this place was pleasant, all the staff were very friendly, Dr. Mohammad Dastjerdi is an excellent professional and has a lot of patience.

Listen to the reviews. My father was sent here from Atlantic health hospital. I asked many questions to avoid any issues and regarding these reviews.. I made sure the doctor wasn’t dr chu whom is named multiple times in these reviews. Anyways, my father drives 30 minutes just to be told some bs about his insurance and how he has to apply there. Don’t waste our time and not mention these types of things.

Unprofessional only good if you’re an intern look to gain some experience while in college but most of the professional I’ve interacted with today were not empathetic to patients especially children department. They were robotic and dismissive. I did not like my expense with Alla (Ala) and attending physician assistant. As we arrived with my children an hour early to wait 1 hour longer after her eye being dilated. I’ve been to specialist this is extremely longer than expected. The management must be overwhelmed with the from scheduling to staffing because everyone is doing what they want to. The time management and organization of this office is a poor excuse of a standard of hospital specialists doctors office of specialized care. Better off going anywhere else!

Because of this clinic my dad is 100% blind. Beware of what youre getting into. He walked in with 1 eye functioning and despite his longstanding medical history Dr. Chu decided to operate which caused a cascade of horrible health events. Dr. Langer, Dr. Zarbin and Dr. Dasjerdi were all wonderful but I would never recommend Dr. Chu. Once my father became blind and hospitalized there was not even a personal follow up from this MD. He in my opinion does not have any consideration for other people and the impact of the patients life due to his scientific experiments. He should not have performed any operation on a functioning eye especially being that this was the only eye my dad had. My dad is now completely dependent on others and extremely depressed. Dr. Chu and his disregard has forever impacted my family.

Make appointments and call 2-3 hours later. Have a poor appointment scheduling.
