Would it be too much to say Dr. Solomon delivered the best healthcare experience I could imagine? Both from the perspective of “how amazing the results are” to “how much fun he (and his staff) are” -- got to talk sports during the Avalanche cup run. Questions are also answered clearly and in an easy to understand manner.
My sight before/after cataracts surgery (done in both eyes a couple of weeks apart) has improved so dramatically I wonder when I’ve seen this well before.
I cannot recommend Dr. Solomon more highly!!

The staff is very kind, and it felt like they really cared. They can explain anything complicated in simple terms. I love how honest my doctor was, and he was willing to rule out any of my concerns. Will be back and would recommend to family and friends

I have gone back and forth on whether I should leave this review or not, but I do not want anyone to suffer like I did. A little over a year ago I noticed I had a dark shadow at the top of my eye, I went to the ER and they suspected my Retina detached. They weren’t able to fully diagnose me so they ended up referring me to Dr. Solomon. During my first appointment, Dr.Solomon reassured me that my retina wasn’t detached and that my optic nerve was swollen. I had no idea what could have caused this so I asked him. He pretty much told me it was either due to the Covid vaccine or from when I had Covid. I asked if there was a chance that my vision would come back and all he could say is “I’m
not too sure, I’m normally a glass half full type of guy but I’m not sure. He told me to come back in a month to see if the swelling went down. During that month I noticed my vision in that eye was getting worse, when I told him this he just said the same thing as the previous appointment. He ended up doing some tests on my eye and still decided it was my optic nerve. He told me to schedule an MRI to see if there was anything he was missing. Did the MRI and they found NOTHING. When I went back to see him my vision was way worse than it was before, I had major vision loss and everything was warped. When I told him this he said that I’m experiencing signs of retinal detachment but still assured me that wasn’t the case. it was still the same thing as the last two appointments, almost felt like a script. At this point I was very fed up and we ended up going to a different practice. Within 30 minutes of that appointment they told me my retinal was severely detached and I will need to have emergency surgery to repair it. It has been a little over a year since my surgery and I still don’t have much vision in my eye. I asked my new doctor if I would ever have my full vision back and she said probably not because I went so long being misdiagnosed, so I have a lot of damage in my eye. If you’re experiencing anything similar to me, please get a second opinion before it’s too late.
