If you are going for a routine exam with standard care I would say go for it. If you need any type of specialized RX especially for contacts skip this office. Its unfortunate they are not equipped to deal with it. I had a visit almost a month ago and explained several times not only to the DR but to his staff my daughter wears special RX for her contacts. DR assured me it would be ok. Four weeks later I have NO contacts for my daughter. The "trial" contacts the ones they have in I was advised the right one would be ok but the left eye would be a bit blurry? I had asked to have the old RX sent from the other Physicians office (they fit perfect and not a problem) I called numerous times to see if her trials were in. The office handled this inadequately. Instead of jumping thru hopes I have to call my insurance file a complaint and simply get her eye exam redone by what I hope is an office more adept in specialized eye care.

If I could give Dr. Urias more than the five stars, I would! My children and I have been seeing him for the last three years and all of our visits have been phenomenal! His staff has been friendly, the wait time in lobby has always been short, and all of our questions or concerns have been answered during our pleasant appointment's. He is very kind and has made myself, as well as my children feel like we are visiting a friend. Thank you Dr. Urias.

Doctor Urias is great, very humble and cares about his patients. The only thing I wasn’t happy about is how hard the staff makes it when filing the insurance. They refuse to call and very benefits and only check insurance through their portal. My entire family has coverage, For some reason the site was experiencing technical issues so, I called myself to very benefits and we show to all be covered and I got all the coverage info for them and they still refused to accept it since they can’t pull it on their portal even after explaining to them what was going on. They then stated they way we have to bill the insurance is difficult and we choose to bill it simpler so, we can’t take your insurance, mind you I have taken all 3 of my children there with no issue and now they just don’t want to call the insurance to get coverage info so, they refused it. Very sad because Urias is a good doctor but if the staff and their billing department don’t know how to be universal other than using their computer and refuse to call, then I’m sure they will be losing other patients cause they want everything easy on their end.
