They flat out just don't answer the phone. And there's no voice mail, so you just gotta spend 20 minutes at a time on hold until you get bored and try calling back later. And spend 20 minutes on hold again.
As of now they booking out til late November. That's a 4 month wait to get a prescription for eyeglasses. Absolutely pathetic. McDonald's does better than this. Hell, Subway does better than this. So does your average food cart and child's lemonade stand. Too bad we don't have an 8 year old running the VA instead, they could not possibly do any worse.
Way to fail, Minneapolis.

Delays prior to Appt. were covid related. I waited one week shy of a year. The comm.care folks were willing to set me up closer to home but the soonest I could be seen was Mar.2021.
I heard a vet groveling about delays etc. Swallow it pard, the Mayo Clinic is MUCH slower
and totally unconcerned about you. Thanks for the good service, I appreciate it.

Be prepared to wait for hours to see somebody. This is absolute chaos.
