Started out liking them and have been going to them for about 5 years. Had great vision my whole life, until my my eyes started getting wonky with age. Valley Optical is the first and so far only optometrist I've had, just need to update the lenses every year or so as my vision continues changing. My last pair of glasses were getting a little blurry so I went in to get my scrip updated and although the new right lens is amazing, the left lense of my new glasses are blurrier than my old pair. Exact same glasses and same style lense in every way. They redid the lenses, to their credit but the left lense is still blurrier and now I'm just stuck with a really expensive pair of glasses that I cant use. I'm having to make do with my old pair until next year because they are at least only a little blurry and I can still read, although it's a strain, whereas the new ones are unusable. I can't read anything small or up close with them due to the left lense being so blurry. She told me I need to read from about 8 feet away, which is not realistic and that I need a different type of glasses, which is weird because every other time, my new glasses have worked perfect. First time issue for needing a different type? Sadly, will be finding another optometrist.

I was reffered to come here to speak to the optician about some glasses I was having a hard time with. I am not a patient and I have never purchased here. I called before coming in, and asked if I needed to make an appointment since I knew this could take awhile, when Holly answered she was so kind and said to come in anytime. When I came in they were busy, the optician was busy but got right to me. She sat down with me, marked my glasses, and did something else in the back to them. She came out had me try them on, and they were fantastic! All they needed was an adjustment! Holly and Andrea were so kind, understanding, and patient, even with all the other customers in there. I was recommended to go see Andrea and I will be returning to her for all of my glasses in the future. I will from now on be recommending Andrea and Valley Optical to everyone I know! Put on hold when calling because front desk girl couldn't answer my question. Went in to pick up contacts, same girl who answered the phone, just sat there as I walked in. I walked up to her and told her that I was there to pickup contacts, she just looked at me like I was speaking a foreign language to her. I have never seen this girl in there, so I'm guessing she's new, but we shouldn't have to train adults how to act when being approached by a customer. Next time I won't bother her, I'll go elsewhere. I asked her name as I leaving and again she looked at me as though I insulted her. But her name was either Kara, or Klara.

I have had nothing but fantastic service at Valley Optical! Andrea was very helpful with picking out my new glasses! Dr. Aljets is wonderful to work with, he is an experienced wealth of knowledge & I would recommend him to my friends & family!

I’ve gone to Valley Optical since I was a child. Patty and Dr. Aljets are the best. Patty is organized and always is quick to help me when I need to get my prescription updated.

New staff is amazing. Never before could anyone get my glasses adjusted correctly, until now. I appreciated all their help. And the best thing is I didn't need an appt for a simple adjustment like I did in the past. I highly recommend Dr Aljets and the girls at Valley Optical. Wonderful, positive changes!

Dr. Christensen is the most amazing optometrist I've ever seen. He knew right away how to correct my prescription, and from someone who is borderline blind, that is something to be said! However- I would see him at his other location going forward, The staff at this location are ALWAYS RUDE, doesnt matter if you are in person, or on the phone. Unwilling to help and made me feel like I was bothering her asking questions. Asked 2x to have my Rx emailed, still have yet to receive it, same lady when i called said they didn't know how to email. ? Def needs new office staff.

I was so happy with the time the doctor took to examine my eyes and re-check three times to make sure it was correct due to my current prescription being so different. Patty and Kathy are wonderful and I could not be happier with my new glasses. The whole staff cares and it shows!! Thank you all!!!

My family and I have been seen at Valley West Optical for over 15 years! As the eye challenges of my family have changed, the associates at Valley Optical have worked and walked us through every step of the way. No complaints!

He knows what he's doing. But refuses to listen to opinion. I told him I did not want a specific brand of contact because they are difficult to work with. I was told I was wrong and given the brand anyway. I have had nothing but difficulties with my contacts since.

I love all the girls in the office and Dr Aljets!! From the moment you walk in the door you have Awesome personal attention!! I am always happy with my glasses, always!! Best part is they can take pics of my eyes instead of dilating them!!

Friendly fast service like you used to get before the world became rude and rushed. Thanks for being human....
