No senior discount, no discount if pay in cash, no insurance you pay full price, I don't see the value

I have been going here for a few years and have recommended this place to several of my friends and family. Great value and friendly staff.

I do have the medical card so I know getting the glasses takes a long time. I came in they have a okay selection but it is the medical card so I'm not going to complain they are free. My appointment took me about a week and a half to get in and I got a call my glasses came in about 4 weeks later again I can see great and after reading the comments I don't see the issue with the "rude". She was very busy but took care of my needs.

Friendly and professional staff. Service was great and I received my appointment quickly.

The receptionist is the sweetest. The doctor is very polite and thorough. The selection they have is really good. I recommend them to anyone that is on a budget. They're very helpful and so nice.

The only reason this place is getting 2 stars is because of the doctor. The receptionist is rude and obviously has NO phone skills. I have been waiting on glasses for my son and I for 8 weeks now. She said she'd call when they came in but doesn't. My other son and roomate got theirs and we all went in on same day. We had to call to find out they were in. Now I call to check on my son's and I and she leaves me on hold for over 10 min then hangs up on me. I call back she picks up and hangs up on me again. Now she wont answer the phone. Very unhappy never have had to wait this long for glasses and deal with such poor customer service skills!

The receptionist there is awful and disrespectful leaves you on hold forever and answers the phone with an initialed attitude. Called two days in a row and was put on hold forever. The eye doctor is great but the receptionist he has there ain't worth it.

My lenses dont even fit the frames properly and the left one is literally almost popping out..cant wipe the lenses or clean them without being extremely careful or you will push a lense out because they are not fitted properly..just seems like a really poor job.

Doctor was nice however the receptionist was rude and very short with me. I called to check on my glasses status after 3 weeks still not there. (Glad I ordered backups from a different glasses company). Anyway she said no not yet I said thank you and she hung on me before I finished my sentence. If the doctor was somewhere else I'd go back no problem. But I think ill pass due to the rude woman there.

Ashley is amazing! Always so helpful. I won't go anywhere else for glasses!

It was like a self service . Place DR NICE . BUT THE REST of the visit leaves nothing to to help their reviews

Highly recommended the receptionist and eye doctor are so incredibly kind and helpful. After my eye exam I got to pick out my new glasses from a nice selection and they even fixed my broken ones I brought in with me for free just so I could see while I wait for my glasses to be made in a few weeks. Thank you

My boyfriend came in for a walk In without vision insurance. price was half of anywhere else in town (under $75 for contact eye exam) and a totally painless experience. We were in and out in about 45 minutes. My boyfriend said he won’t ever go anywhere else. highly recommend especially after calling about 15 places and everywhere being booked out for weeks. Dr and staff were very nice.

Great people took great care of me very professional and understanding did not rush me in anyway took plenty of time to understand me and my needs. Outstanding my eyes are seeing better then they ever did lol will always come back and do my business with them. Keep up the good work and keep doing business like you did with me for everyone who comes thru your doors amazing 👏 thank you both in the office very much.

I had a very good experience here. Ashley( receptionist) was very friendly and helpful with me choosing my frames. Dr. Dannatt was very nice and professional. I highly recommend Value Eyewear Patricia D

We love Value Eyewear. What's the saying? You get what you pay for? Here- you pay for efficiency, the down to earth staff, and a business that's there to serve the people, not make millions. The only place we go to and we refer our friends and family to!

I've never gotten a better deal on glasses anywhere. Simple, good and friendly service. Highly recommend.

Value Eyewear themselves have been great. That said I have now had to buy two sets of frames from them because the frame design is poor quality. I have had both frames lose the hinge from the plastic frames on the same side. Once superglued they never have an issue. Then the frames can’t handle any kind of bumps or life happenings and have both broken in the same way just past the hinge on the plastic. I have had glasses for 25 years and have never had frames act in such a way. I would give less stars if it wasn’t for the fact that the front desk gal has been as helpful as possible. Would not recommend any plastic frames.

The eye doctor was very good and professional but I can't say the same about the receptionist. She was very rude. I had called to ask about my daughter's glasses and before I even said her name she said okay and put me on hold I waited for over 10 minutes then called again but this time she put me on hold when I said that I had called her before and she hung up.

This place doesn't even have a bathroom for customers to use- or a sink to wash your hands before putting in contacts...you would think an eye care place would encourage washing your hands before handling contacts - It's not even possible …

I have been going to Value Eyewear for many years. My insurance changed and I went elsewhere one time. I have headaches now and my script is not right. Went back to Value Eyewear, where it's nothing fancy, but a very good doctor, and a very thorough eye exam at a good price. Never had any issues with waiting for contacts or glasses. As for being on hold...I'm on hold no matter where I call nowadays. Busy practice means busy phones!

This place is a gem. Great service. They were so prompt. I was in and out in less than an hour. They don't push anything extra on you. Friendly. Highly recommend.

Dr Dannatt is the best eye doctor around! He is kind and patient. He’s extremely helpful and listens to what you have to say. Best eye doctor I’ve ever had.

My family of 7 have been coming to Value Eyewear for over 15 years. The price of contacts and glasses are very reasonable. Of course, it is not all fancy inside and doesn't have an enormous assortment of glasses, but my kids always find name brands and cute glasses they are happy with. So, save money come here or spend a lot more money and go elsewhere.

So far the process has been okay me and my daughter went in and got our eyes examined they said I needed glasses I ordered my glasses the 11th and it is now the 22nd and still no glasses I called and got placed on hold for 11 minutes then hung up on then when calling back immedantly placed on hold, we will see if I ever receive my glasses or if I have to take my business else where. Edit to say after calling back for a 3rd time and getting the excuse they are busy being told my glasses are in fact ready for pick up, I was originally told 3-5 days and will pick up on day 11. I did get my glasses and all was well.

Great prices!!! Wonderful people. I never have a problem and I think the people who do are the ones with the problem! I tell every one to come here! my god bless all the rude people wish more people who had good review would write them but most people with hairs up there... or they have nothing better to do post them. Receptionists is super great, very helpful and friendly all of the time. Dr is amazing too!! So knowledgeable and always happy to answer any questions you may have.

I absolutely hate the service! So unprofessional. Me & my mom went in together and did our eye exams the same time as well as paper work. We was told 5 to 6 weeks (why?we don't know) we was told from a customer it takes up to 2/3 weeks. It's been 6 weeks my mom glasses are the only ones that came in told me mines wasnt shipped yet. Then I called a week later. They said they apologize and that the reason my glasses are taking so long is because the *paper work* doesn't get filled out at the same time. And im not sure why it wouldn't be filled out if we both came at the same time? How do you only file one persons paper work but not the other person who came with them. I'm so upset its been over a month even more upset about the professionalism
