My boyfriend received his eye contacts from here. He was told that a mandatory “training” has to happen before he could purchase the contacts prescribed… but that he had to wait for a doctor to conduct the training and would have to come in for a 2nd visit. I’m not sure why. When I got my contacts elsewhere, they handled everything in one day. He also was charged $30 for the fitting / training. He had not been told he would be charged for this. When I let them know this was going to be an issue unless they had this price publicly on display or proof they told him, the receptionist got defensive and told me she tells everyone and she she maybe forgot to tell him the price but did tell him it would be a charge. Looking over the bill, he incurred charges for 2 visits, not 1, the training was added on (sold as mandatory but not needed) and all in all they did nothing to admit their scam or correct it when asked about it. Finally, the minute we got there, I started coughing and sneezing. The carpet was stained with mildew and smelled like dust with dust particles in the air. The doctor is polite but that’s the only positive. Do not go here.

I went to Dr. Keefe after my facial nerve was severed during brain surgery. Because of the nerve damage, my eye would not close correctly. On Dr. Keefe's suggestion, she installed a gold weight in my eyelid. My eyelid never healed. She went on vacation days after my surgery. I came back to her office where the other doctors tried to redo the procedure. My body rejected the gold weight. When Dr. Keefe came back, she used a new thread to intentionally inflame my eyelid. It made things even worse and the gold weight was literally falling out of my eye. Her solution was to sew my eye shut! I immediately left her office and went with the Shiley Eye Institute in La Jolla. They installed a platinum weight and my body accepted it immediately. The were surprised that any doctor would install a gold weight with the low success rate. Don't be afraid to shop around. Who knows how much more damage would have been done if I stayed with this doctor.

First of all, parking on site available at the building for free.
Secondly, Dr. Edward is very patience, professional, trustworthy and understand his patience. He will provide you the facts for your treatment, cost and post care after the surgery. He also accept Tricare and Medicare. The office is very clean and also they share space with Courique Optical which is convenient if you need a glasses.
