Typically I would give them a 5 star rating as I was going there for YEARS. But today when I called to try to make an appt because I woke up with minimal vision in my right eye,I was told first available was mid August. I began to explain to the person that answered what the problem was (I am diabetic with high blood pressure), and to ask if they have a list in case anyone canceled. Before I could get a statement out she cut me off to say “you are in the same boat as a lot of people right now “. So I began to ask if they recommended I see a physician or another eye doctor and she cut me off again to say “you do whatever you have to do”. I realize that right now personnel are extremely stressed. I by no means was trying to gain her pity or get an earlier appt. but I have NEVER in my years coming here been treated like my health and vision was absolutely meaningless. I as well as my 4 children have been seen yearly here for multiple years. I’m reminded every year that my insurance is the best they’ve ever seen well... I’m sorry that I, as a patient, didn’t fit your criteria for compassion today. I wish you well... but it won’t be with me as a patient.

I just got a new prescription from my ophthalmologist but didn't care for any of the frames they had there so I started looking around. I had never heard of Vision Care Optique before doing a Google search, but decided to drop by to see what they had. They invited me inside and let me browse around and it didn't take too long to find exactly what I wanted -- I ordered a whole new set of glasses right on the spot. They came in a couple of weeks later. I went in to pick them up and they needed adjusting (plastic frames) for a perfect fit; no problem, they did it all in the span of 5 minutes. The lenses are very clear, very sharp, and the frames are excellent quality. They are my go-to for glasses from now on.

I called at least 5 places all them were not on the right page.Vison Care was AUMSOME my glasses are perfect I have a Grey tint for the first time 💘 my 👓.They are very professional and caring to your needs.I received my glasses so fast I still don't believe it. Wonderful Staff …

Only place I could find in town that took my insurance

Been going here a few years no complaints. Staff very friendly including Dr. Borntrager. Had a fall and scratched my new lens Dr.Borntrager went above and beyond to get them fixed for me. There was also a time I had a vision emergency and they were quick to instruct me what to do to get it evaluated immediately. We are very appreciative and confident of the care we receive there.

You will struggle to find a bad person in this place. I haven’t had glasses in a while and I’ve never had an eye doctor that has actually helped me. They helped me instantly , weird for about 15 minutes then immediate clarity. Everyone is really kind too, I highly recommend them.

Great place , my first visit last week. I was in and out as a new patient 8n about a half hour. Great staff , very friendly and knowledgeable I highly recommend this place

Today was our first time in Vision Care Optique and I would give it 10 stars if I could. They were so patient with my 5 year old, even when she couldn’t make up her mind with which glasses she wanted. They answered all my questions and didn’t make me feel pressured to get anything which is a huge plus for me. We’ve been to 3 other places and haven’t gotten anywhere near the treatment we received at Vision Care. I will absolutely be taking my daughter here from now on.

Booked an appointment with them after a referral from another vision center, the first person I spoke with whom was a male got my name right on the first try after our initial phone call. The second & third phone call that I received from who I’m guessing to be, the receptionist was a blatant example of micro aggression. The receptionist Donna butchered my name, even stating before her attempt that she was probably going to say it wrong & still proceeded to continue, didn’t apologize also told me she’d probably forget it again. You know most people attempt to use your last name if they’re unsure of your first just as a common courtesy. Well I received another appointment reminder call from her again never mentioning her own name until I asked for it & when I corrected her about the mispronunciation again, she chuckled about it. Unless you want to deal with micro aggressions I wouldn’t recommend.

Very upset you gave me the too strong of an eye prescription only 5 months ago. I’d like to keep my current glasses, since they were a very expensive GIFT but you won’t fix them when it’s your fault they’re wrong!!! The office girl told me my eyes must have gotten better! What a JOKE! I will NOT be coming back, not like you care though. Hopefully I save someone else this trouble.

Went for an eye exam in May, was treated ok until the exam started with I think his name is Nathan, who was in a very surly mood, and didn't care for small talk. Every time I get my prescription from this guy he tries to give me contacts that are too weak, so I brought the old box with me to make sure I get the right ones, which didn't make him happy, I explained why to him, and all he did was say don't argue with me over and over very loudly. Needless to say I will never be back, my family will never be back, and our friends that used to go there won't anymore. I don't care what kind of day your having, you don't treat a customer like that!

Moved to Columbus.....still drive to Vision Care for my glasses. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

I've been going here for a while and have NEVER had any issues (besides insurance issues) I take my kids and they are great with them.

I just left the eye doctor here the entire staff is amazing everybody was helpful friendly knowledgeable and the prices are written right in front of your face so there's no questions as the patient I was in and out and they quoted me less than 10 days for my frames to come in awesome place so glad I decided to go here The parking is easy to get in and out of very conveniently located Update: I love them so much that I made my husband an appointment they're the lady even talk to me on the phone while he was picking out his glasses and explain the pricing because I could not be there at the time of his exam what a phenomenal place !!! He's going to look great in his new glasses thanks for helping him pick them out
