STAFF - When you walk in the door, you are warmly greeted. These are nice, warm people. Lupe was so like the the leader of attitude and knowledge. She was so kind and humorous. She can figure out a way in which to help you. What a way to start: going into a doctor's office and you are happy to be there. DOCTOR- Amazing. Warm. Knowledgeable. Caring. The Doctor meets with you to build a relationship and confidence before I even go to the exam room. I appreciated that sensitive practice. It gives her time to explain the earlier tests taken by the staff. THe EXAM - This is the easiest, least startling ,and most visually informative eye test I have ever had. She explains it all during and after. What a great doctor. OFFICE - What a clean, modern place. The space is really very appealing. EQUIPMENT - I have never seen equipment like this (I just had my annual appointment completed last year. This office seems to have the latest and greatest. EYEGLASSES FRAMES - A plethora of frames from which to choose. I hate the frame selection process as I am not comfortable with my fashion sense and, if I make a mistakes, I would have to live with it for 2 years. No problem. Lupe and I found "the" pair first try. Of course, Lupe, wanting to dismiss any doubts I might have, without my talking about my long term concern, she finds about 40 possible options. Yup. We got the "right" pair the first time but I have no doubts about my selection. How could I go wrong with help like this? Yes. A definite 5 stars though I wish I could give 6 or more as they are that good. I hope that you, if you are reading these reviews, can can know about this place. THIS IS THE BEST PLACE FOR HEALTHY EYES AND A LITTLE KINDNESS IN YOUR LIFE.

I brought my teenage daughter and she was very happy with the doctor and staff. The office is so pretty that we felt like we were on Rodeo drive in Beverly Hills. We give this optometry office a 10.

I recently moved from Fresno, so I was looking for a good optometry service here in Modesto. I want to start with how well-managed the facility was; I'm so impressed with the sanitation. Everyone there had a positive attitude and a very good ambiance. I recommend it 100% to people in Modesto looking for excellent service.

I have been coming to Vision First for 6 years. The great staff is always attentive, and they treat you like family. My son looks forward to this appointment all the time because of how great Dr. Bray is with children. If you're looking for stylish, brand-named frames and great service, this is the place to go. I’ve been coming to this office for a long time. I apologize I don’t remember the previous doctor’s name before Dr. Ortega, but I was always pleased with the service. Then I saw Dr. Ortega a few times and she’s been great, and my most recent visit I saw Dr. Nuccio (he introduced himself as Ed). He is a great addition to this already wonderful office. He’s professional and personable. Great staff, always happy with my service.

Went here and got my eyes checked and had great service and loved Dr Nuccio he was very respectful and helpful and was outgoing, i love going here !

I highly recommend Dr. Bray! She is very kind, thorough, knowledgeable, and makes you feel at ease. I first went to her eight years ago during her early years of practicing when she was in the office of Dr. Wing in Ceres. At that time she found a rare condition that I had. Recently I noticed that I now need glasses. Dr. Bray had made such a big impression on me years ago so I tracked her down through Google and found that she now had her own practice in Modesto. The moment that I walked into her beautiful office, I was greeted with smiles from all of her staff members. Lupe signed me in, also started the eye testing, and then finished the appointment with me after Dr. Bray examined me. She was very patient and a big help while I was being indecisive on which pair of glasses to purchase. She was also very sweet and made me very comfortable. Today I went into her office again to pick up my new glasses and I was promptly helped by Kathy. She also was very nice and I enjoyed chatting with her. If you wanting exceptional care and a friendly atmosphere this is the place to go!

For the last two appointments, I experienced a wait of over 20 minutes after checking in for my eye exam. While the staff has been helpful and appeared organized, the increasing waiting time has been disappointing. This has made the experience frustrating and, frankly, unacceptable. I had expected better service and more timely care. Unfortunately, due to this recurring issue, I have decided not to return to this clinic in the future.

Great office very clean and modern. They should put a sign with the office name outside though. It just says optometry outside.Dr and staff were very nice! The glasses are a little pricey but I guess they would be most of them are name brand. Took about 10 days for me to get my new glasses and I love them.

To all of my big headed people: go to this practice! Everyone in this office is very pleasant and helpful, especially if you got a big head like me! They ordered up larger frames for me to try on. Of course, show some patience because it could take a little bit of extra time to find glasses that fit. You already knew this, though. You will be happy in the end.
