I had a disappointing experience with Visions Northwest. I scheduled an appointment, took time off work, and arrived on time, only to be told that my appointment had been rescheduled to the following week. They claimed I had called to reschedule, which was not the case. I received no communication about this change, and the last email confirmed my original appointment time. I value honesty and transparency, and would have appreciated if they had simply admitted to a scheduling error. Instead, I lost valuable time and money due to this mix-up. I would not recommend this place.

Update: The clinic called to admit their error in the scheduling, a gesture that I appreciate. It doesn’t make up for the lost time, but it does show a level of professionalism. I’ve updated my review from one star to three stars in light of this.

I tried this place years ago, but was still tied to my contact lens doctor in LA so wasn't really ready to make the complete switch even though I did relocate to Seattle. I tried again last week, and I was under a time crunch because I had to fly over Thanksgiving. They did the exam, and suddenly I have no astigmatism in my left eye although I had it my entire life. I knew something was off. When they tried to fit me in contacts after the exam, they didn't have any samples. My contact lens doctor in LA always had samples in stock of every brand imaginable. They told me they would get the samples in a week. No one called me, so I followed up 8 days later and they told me the samples wouldn't be in until the 21st and I was flying on the 22nd. They knew the time crunch but zero follow up. These were just samples, meaning if they didn't work or they did work, we would still have to order the lenses, and I was running out of time. I asked them to give me my prescription from the exam and I would forward it to my contact lens doctor in LA and he would help me out. They said because they didn't actually fit me in a contact lens, they would not be able to give me my prescription. I paid for the exam, but I am not able to get my prescription. That being said, they forwarded the eye glass prescription not the contact lens prescription, and I was able to send that to my doctor in LA, and we worked out a solution, being that he knows my eyes and I have been going to him since I was 18 years old and I am now 60. He said something was off during the exam, and that my cataract shouldn't be dense yet, because it is a certain type that grows at the edge of the lens, and yet the doctor insisted my cataract was dense. My vision is 20/20 and I see well. You wouldn't if you had a dense cataract over the lens. Also he was surprised that she didn't mention the astigmatism in the left eye, yet my LA doctor noted it during every single exam since the age of 18. I don't trust this place, nor do I trust the doctors, and I just wanted to let everyone know. Thanks for listening.

Absolutely amazing service. I have come to Seattle for a vacation from the UK to join an Alaskan cruise. British Airways have lost my luggage which contained my contact lenses for the duration of the trip plus some extras i carried with me. Visions Northwest came to my rescue and supplied me with a week's worth of Disposable contact lenses with some backups free of charge! I have been so stressed but am so thankful to the lovely lady that helped me out. Thank you so so much- you have saved me alot of anguish and further stress!!! 🙏🙂
