Went in a few minutes before they close I purchased glasses here many times before The physician at visionwork is the one who prescribed my glasses and the girl told me she couldn't do it tonight because there was no provider there and she can't sell anything. I don't see how when I have a prescription from this store and got glasses here before and just want to order a new set of lenses at full price why they don't want to do it.
What it looked like was the girl closing was doing her money early with her friend there sitting in a seat talking to her and she didn't want to do anything to help me let alone take my money for business.
Please if you're not going to be open till 7:00 just change your hours, If it's 6:45 that's fine just change your hours to that. If it's 5:00 p.m. that's fine just change your hours to that but do not advertise your open till 7:00 when you really are not.

I had and eye exam and purchased glasses her about two weeks ago. I was not impressed with the DR or the exam. Right from the beginning, I knew the RX could not be correct. I use my glasses for distance only and looking through them was like not having glasses on at all. They were very blurry. When I contacted the store and asked if the lenses matched the RX, a young lady was huffy about my question and stated they matched. I explained that I could still see clearly from my old RX and something was wrong with the new one. I knew I was going to have an issue with that staff, so I contacted the store at West Knoxville and they got me in for a recheck. The RX from the Miller Pl location WAS incorrect and they apologized even though they were not the ones originally who did my exam. They redid my lenses and immediately it was perfect. I will never use that other location again. The West Knoxville staff is awesome!

Went to get an eye exam for glasses and after telling the Dr that I used to wear contacts but stopped a few years ago due to eye irritation and having to wear readers even with progressive lenses, he insisted on "trying something" He gave me contacts and had me sit for a few minutes to see if they would be irritated. They irritated my left eye so he put me in a smaller lens size, gave me 2 boxes and said to give them a try.
At checkout I was told the initial price was $79 for the eye exam and an additional $60 for the contact fitting. I was upset about the $60 since I never asked for a lens fitting, I was there for glasses! I told the clerk I wasn't happy with that but paid and left.
After a week I went back because the left eye bifocal wasn't strong enough and once again I needed readers. I was sitting in the waiting room and heard a new patient being told prices for the exam. $59 and if you wanted the extra test it was an additional $19. I was never given an option even though I was a new patient as well.
I was given a different power left lens and I immediately knew it wasn't working and was even less effective than the previous lens. I asked for a higher power and was told there wasn't one and that I would have to use readers to DRIVE!
I removed the contacts and asked for the $60 back since I didn't ask for contacts and still can't wear them. They refused.
I didn't get to see the Dr again and truthfully I don't trust the glasses prescription I was given. I told the clerk I was concerned about the new glasses prescription since the contacts were way off and she said they have a 100 day bring back. That only works if you buy your glasses from them! I priced them out and they were twice the price! No guarantees if you buy them elsewhere. Now I feel like I need another exam because of all this.
NEVER AGAIN VISIONWORKS!!!
