After contacting your Sterling Heights location regarding a letter from the state saying I needed a follow up exam for my son, I am left speechless.
I took my son in on June 7th for an eye exam and paid for the extra imaging. On June 21 we picked up his new glasses. The employee handed them to us and walked away no making sure they fit no nothing.
On September 26th he failed an eye exam while using his glasses.
I received the letter on Oct 17 and called on the 18th to follow up
Keyana (I'm sorry not sure on spelling) answered, I explained the situation and she was immediately hostile. She stated its been 4 months. Yes and ur website says come back if ur not happy for 100 days? Then she looked up the doctor and said I'd have to pay for everything all over again and this time her EXACT words "I'll schedule you with a more thorough doctor" I said I didn't want to repay. Then she started saying at 6 months I should have been back anyway. I again said when he failed it had only been three months. She continued to be rude, speak over me etc until I asked for a manager. I was told there was absolutely nobody in the building and her manager would call me the next day.
After waiting all morning for a call I did not receive I tried calling 4 times before someone would answer and was told the manager was on lunch. I said I'd call back. After 20 or so minutes I got a call from Dakota, she began the call uncaring and hostile. It was apparent from the start she did not want to deal with me and did not care at all about my sons eye care. She used terms im unfamiliar with and never once specified about payment or not. She told me I had to leave the paper there and nobody was actually going to LOOK at my son and make sure things were OK. After being given short rude answers and told I was a liar (aren't phone calls recorded? Her employee absolutely said the other doctor was more thorough) I asked for a second time for a corporate number to report my concerns on this doctor and the over all treatment I was given. She laughed at me and called me disrespectful!! This is the actions of a store manager?!?! To that point I was in no way disrespectful. I simply have concerns over a FACT an employee stated to me. Dakota is rude cold and uncaring. She clearly did not want to solve the concern or ensure the good care of children in her building. I was also told that I could go else where and get the lenses looked at I didn't need to come there for a copy of my sons records.
I just would like my sons double checked and it verified his prescription is what he needs. I'm not sure why this is such a terrible request to these two women.
Please take the time to speak with Dakota and her staff and let them know that a little compassion goes a long way.

I Had a very great visit Keyona was very sweet and explained all about the lenses and the doctor explained my eye exam in depth it was a very good visit I definitely would recommend this location friendly atmosphere. Thank You Vision Works 😊 …

Horrible service. The doctor didn't do the eye exam right. Couldn't see nothing when got the glasses. They gave me the money back for the glasses, but NOT the $100 for the eye exam which that was the problem. DO NOT GO THERE TO HAVE YOUR EYE EXAM. They took vanished of a person that doesn't speak English to still $100. Shame on them.
