I am exceedingly impressed with the professionalism I saw at this business. I am a demanding detail oriented shopper. Lisa and Letty both were over the top in their helpfulness and I am now switching over our families’ eyeglass/contact needs to the optician in the Aliso Viejo Walmart. The frame selection was good. The wait times for my extremely strong distance correction were not exceptionally long. I was pleasantly surprised.

I had always wondered why this place is 2/5 stars, I had been a couple of times for an eye exam with the Doctor, who is very nice by the way. However, I now see the bigger picture of the Vision Center at Walmart as to why they have 2 stars and which is why I am writing this review. I never write reviews, so this should already tell you something. The loophole to the system here are the FRONT DESK/RECEPTIONISTS. I came in for a medical appointment as my contact lense had split in my eye and they were letting patients see the Doctor before me even though I was waiting first in line. I had informed the receptionist why she let her go first and she simply forgot I was waiting there and they did not even try to apologize or own up to their mistakes and blaming me for not wanting to wait for another 40 minutes. I truly feel for the Doctors at this place, but the management staff needs to take ownership and actually train their staff because more patients like myself are switching optometries because of their incompetence.

Doctors are very nice and professional. Took my glasses back twice because they didn't get it right. They never got it right. My left eye is slightly blurry and it feels like it is straining. Gave up and ended throwing them away. I just wasted a whole year because my insurance won't pay for another pair until a year later. I'm back to using my glasses which are 20 years old. Would NOT RECOMMEND. Addendum: Tried one more time to take them back (2 years later) and they finally realized that the employee who ordered the glasses put the wrong numbers on order form. After 2 1/2 years of battling with them, I finally got my glasses!
