The Walmart Vision Center on Academy is my new happy discovery. I brought in my prescription and simply started trying on glasses and sunglasses (I needed both, having recently broken mine). Even though they were busy helping customers, I had workers there immediately checking in with me to see if I needed assistance. I didn't. And there was no hard sell or following me and trying to upsell me to more expensive frames. They let me shop. And I love that because in the past I've had to pick frames virtually under duress with someone looking over my shoulder to push the most expensive frames. Anyway I was able to find frames that I loved (more so than again other places I've been). When I was ready to proceed I worked with Nathan and he was excellent. Very pleasant to work with in picking out options for lenses and completing the transaction. Great at letting me know of my options with no pressure tactics or hard sell at all. He even suggested we try my insurance (previously a major hassle elsewhere) and as a result saved me a ton of money with no problems and no lengthy waits. This was easy and comfortable and I'm incredibly happy with Walmart and the staff here. I'm really happy I finally decided to give them a try.

Dr. Vigil was extremely nice. He took a lot of time to explain what all the measures related to my eyes meant, which I thought was super helpful. Nathan, helped check me out and he was also awesome! He spent time explaining what my insurance covered and went over the different options that were available to me. I would 100% recommend this place. I've always had a good experience with them and they usually have appointments available sooner than other places.
