This is the best Opthalmologist experience I have ever had. Both Drs. Walsh (father and son) are professional, friendly and do an extremely thorough job with my two kids for their yearly diabetic eye exams. We never feel rushed or hurried and they always take the time to answer any questions we have. They are concerned about not only eye health, but overall health. I have had no issues at all with the office staff. We go elsewhere to purchase glasses so I can’t speak to that piece, but I highly recommend this ophthalmology practice.

I went here once, and that was enough. I found the younger Dr. Walsh to be condescending (asking about my job as a dog trainer and then telling me he knew more than me about dog training because he owns a poorly behaved and untrained dog, completely unironically) and unhelpful to my questions about my prescription. I have no complaints about the elder Dr. Walsh, although I had very limited interaction with him. The front desk staff was very rude and unhelpful as well. I also feel that my glasses prescription is too strong (I was worried about that in the office but my concerns went unaddressed) as I get a headache every time I wear them so generally just stick to contacts. There was also a very long wait time in the office compared to other ophthalmologists I've been to, and their cost was also well above other ophthalmologists for comparative services/products. I just resolved to never go back and warned my family to not go back as well. I wasn't going to leave a review, however, today we received a nasty message on the home phone from the Walsh office for my elderly aunt with learning disabilities. My jaw actually dropped at how rude and unprofessional it was. They had left a series of phone messages (regarding an order she placed that was ready for payment/pickup) over the last few days that my aunt did not know how to access, and the last one was overtly accusatory and aggressive. There were 4 different numbers left in the 4 different messages, and when my mother called the numbers the first one wasn't a real number and the second one was the wrong number. The third number she tried connected to the Walsh office, and she politely explained the situation and reassured them that she would buy the contact lens so they wouldn't lose any money. The staff member she talked to did not apologize and continued to justify her rudeness by implying that they were doing US a favor by literally doing their job (filling an order for an expensive contact lens). Not a good way to treat clients, so I wanted to share my family's experience to help people avoid a potentially bad experience as well. EDIT: The plot thickens! About an hour after I wrote this review, my aunt came home from work and we told her we were going to pick up her contact. Much to our surprise, she let us know she had already picked it up days ago! We called back to confirm and the employee (same one we dealt with throughout) apologized profusely on the phone for the mix up - she confirmed that it was already picked up and paid for and the error was completely on their end. So now I think even less of this business, but at least the employee offered an apology!

Best Office I have ever been too! I have been to pretty much every doctor in the area and this is the first time anyone has ever fit contacts that actually work for me. Both the younger and senior Dr. Walsh were so nice and extremely helpful. I will be going here and sending all my friends and family to this office from now on.
