Dr. Watson is extremely thorough and knowledgeable. I chose her because of her extensive experience with dry eye and she did not disappoint. She took the time to understand my situation and symptoms and answered all of my questions candidly. The entire staff is great too. Unfortunately, not all of her services are covered by insurance, but that isn't her fault. I was a hopeless dry eye sufferer and her treatment plan has alleviated a lot of symptoms for me.

I visited Watson Dry Eye Center in Feb-2022 for the initial evaluation. I found the office environment extremely uncomfortable and will not be returning. While she may be qualified and knowledgable, Dr. Watson had an abrasive personality. During my visit, while a staff member was running one of the tests, Dr. Watson reprimanded the staff member for how they were running the test and was extremely condescending to her in front of me. Dr. Watson was disrespectful to her staff multiple times during the evaluation process. Both staff members handled themselves in a way that made me suspect they feared upsetting her. Following my visit, I got a second opinion with another dry eye specialist (who is part of a major medical network in the area and was very pleasant to work with). During this visit, all tests were covered by insurance and I had only one out-of-pocket copay (vs the 2 with Dr.Watson due to both virtual and in-person appointments being required). This second specialist had a similar diagnosis, for much less $ and discomfort (no eyelashes were pulled in the process & no dental floss was poked against my eye), though she felt my situation was less severe than Dr.Watson had insinuated. My advice - There are multiple dry eye specialists in the area. I'd recommend comparing evaluation costs and ensuring you are comfortable with the treatment facility and staff.

Dr. Watson is very knowledgeable and extremely personable. For the first time in more than 20 years I had hope for my dry eyes. She quickly diagnosed my dry eye condition as well some other eye issues that I was experiencing unknown to me. After two simple painless procedures, my eyes felt 100% better. While these procedures are not covered by insurance, I did not feel any pressure to do the procedures. However, I felt they were well worth the money. Dr. Watson was also very kind to me and she encouraged me to practice daily eye hygiene (explaining everything in detail). I still have dry eyes but now I can function without them affecting my every day activities. Go see her. You won't be sorry!
