Awful experience. We double checked that they would take our VSP eye insurance (and wouldn't bill us then make us deal with the insurance, we asked twice), then they gave my son an exam, set him up with a pair of glasses and at check out they tried to bill us the full amount (over $600). It's not about the money, it's about the inconvenience of dealing with the insurance after they promised up and down that wouldn't happen. Of the $200 they charged a child for an eye exam our insurance only covers $45. It was a terrible experience and after talking to neighbors afterwards it became clear that it was a consistent issue. They either are incompetent or using bait and switch tactics to scam people. Stay away if you're going to use insurance, their rates are higher than most and you'll be stuck with the bill.
