I have seen Dr. Drayer 1 time before didn't really care for his manor but this time on 10/4/23 saw Dr. Whitmore loved him explained everything, positive, reassuring and detailed oriented. The receptionists Heather and Auria were a very good tag team, friendly and genuine! They were training Chloe a new employee. They were respectful, patient and kind to her in front of me.Chloe was so sweet helping me pick the right frames for me. I would at least give them a chance and see for yourself ! Good customer service and goods is extremely hard to come by these days !

This review is long overdue. I received the worst customer service of my entire adult life at Whylie Eye Care. I first visited their Pleasant Hill location. I was greeted by two receptionists that were more interested in talking to each other about other employee's shortcomings rather than helping me. The doctor was very thorough which I appreciated. However he said it appeared nerves in my eye were dying. He thought I may have glaucoma onset and stressed the importance of following up. A later visit with an independent optometrist next to Vision 4 Less found no evidence of glaucoma. He gave me a prescription that was not even close to my old one. As a consequence, my vision was blury, my farsighted and near sighted vision was bad and I started having headaches from wearing the glasses. I came back and talked to the doctor. He was skeptical but wrote me another prescription. The second one was worse. I called and asked to speak to the doctor about getting my money back. They said I would have to talk to the owner and stopped returning my calls. I was stuck with an extra 200 dollar bill that my insurance didn't cover. Fast forward, I stopped at the Ingersoll Whylie a couple months ago. I had a prescription that I got from Vision for Less. I had used it for sunglasses at Warby Parker that were excellent! I wanted at least to fill the prescription there for the frames from Pleasant Hill. I thought that there was no way they could mess things up. Ingersoll employees were just as incompetent and the grasses were bad again. The person that sold me the lenses said they would be much thinner to the tune of 300. I picked up my glasses a week later. The new ones were thicker then the ones from Warby Parker and my old ones. I couldn't see using the glasses. I'm now out a total of 500. I can't afford to buy another pair of glasses at this point. I'm wearing glasses I purchased 8 years ago that are very scratched and beat up. Please be leery about doing business with Whylie Eye Care.
