What I particularly like about Dr. Schultz specifically, and GR Opthamalogy generally is the time he (and all the assistants) takes to talk to his patients to explain the tests, what they mean, and why the treatment he is recommending is necessary. I very much appreciate this respect shown to the patients. The wait times are occasionally a bit too long, but I always leave before the scheduled ending (two hours for full exam), so that is certainly acceptable. A very professionally run office/organization.

I recently visited Doctor Schultz after my cataract surgeries. His exam was very thorough and complete. He explained how my eyes had corrected from the surgery and he was able to prescribe what little correction I now needed for reading. He was patient and answered all my questions. All of the staff at the East Grand Rapids office were very professional and knowledgeable. The services of Dr. Schultz and staff at that office are highly recommended.

Dr. Schultz was very thorough while doing my diabetic eye exam. I have been on the Glaucoma watch list for four years and Dr. Schultz explained my current status in an easy to understand way that my previous Ophthalmologist never seemed to be able to do. Dr. Schultz went over the two tests that were done and gave me a detailed explanation of the results. I was reassured that my eyes were in good hands when my appointment was completed.
