I left this practice after 15 years because I received an incorrect prescription and two follow-up appointments did not resolve the problem. My subsequent visit to another office made clear that the prescription Dr. Martin gave me was far too weak to meet my needs.
Here are a few other things to know:
1. Office staff failed to record my two most recent appointments. Accordingly, both times, another patient was scheduled at the same time I was scheduled. When I shared my experience with Dr. Martin, his response gave me the impression that scheduling mistakes are fairly common.
2. The office is not open on Fridays. It is also completely closed from 11:30 to 1:00 Monday through Thursday.
3. They add 3% to your total if you pay with a credit card.
4. They do not digitize patient records; do not communicate by email, and do not have an online portal. They do not mail contacts. They rarely answer the phone. I suspect that they don't pay for long distance phone service because they don't call me back when I leave voicemail; instead they text me to ask me what I need (without taking the time to listen to my voicemail).

Dr Martin is amazing and a great person. Been going to him for years. However, his office staff are constantly rude, unprofessional, unpleasant and argumentative. Unfortunately.. we will not be going back and taking our business somewhere else.

Great personable Dr. The only problem is his front desk staff. They are so hateful for dealing with the public.i have only been there twice. Ordered glasses both time and I have had to go and see if my glasses have come in. And low and behold both times I show up for my glasses the same story, they just came in today. I call bs. Poor front desk service.
